On this page of the Dread Hunger guide, you will learn how to patch holes in a ship and thus, prevent the ship from sinking.

The ship in Dread Hunger is not indestructible and its plating can be damaged, e.g. after hitting an iceberg or when explosives are detonated on board. In such a situation, you should patch the holes as soon as possible to be able to continue the game.

You will need wooden planks and nails to patch holes in the ship's plating. You can find wood in different places on every map in Dread Hunger. The nails can be crafted using a workbench.

Once you have the necessary materials, go to the place where the water is breaking into the ship and press the button responsible for performing an action. Note that at the moment the ship in Dread Hunger may have a maximum of 20 leaks at the same time.
