Control: Blocked areas and locations in Control - how to get to them? Control guide, walkthrough

In Control, you will often come across a blocked passage or sector that is not yet available/ How to open these types of passages? The solution is on the next page of the guide.
The most common solution to the problem with accessing certain areas is simple - you have to go back here later in the game. Below we have listed the main types of unreachable locations:
1) Locked passage - You have to perform certain activities during a mission or get an access card for a specific floor. The number next to the locked door informs you which card you need.
2) Ledges high up in the air / chasms - You need to keep doing the main storyline missions. At some point, Jesse will unlock Levitate skill - this happens during My Brother's Keeper. This ability allows Jesse to fly (to some extent).
Many locations have hidden rooms which can be accessed by using levitation. Every time you find a secret location, the game will reward you with, e.g. skill points and materials.
3) Places infected with mold - Entering these locations will make you start losing health. To access them, you have to complete the Old Growth side mission to make Jesse resistant to them.
