SMGs belong to the group of light weapons, which work well in combat at short and medium distances. In Call of Duty Warzone SMGs don't do as much damage as assault rifles, but they can be used in close range combat and in tight spaces. In close range, fire a series of bullets and bursts - aim at the upper body parts of your enemy;
- In middle-distance combat, use the tapping technique or short bursts and aim at the head of your enemy;
- Don't reload your weapon after just a few shots, especially if there are still other targets that have to be eliminated nearby.

The MP5 is most likely the best SMG weapon in Call of Duty Warzone. The MP5 is also one of the best weapons for beginner players because it combines a very high rate of fire, solid damage, and grants a high control of weapon's recoil. With the appropriate modifications, you can increase the damage and range of the MP5 to fight over a slightly longer distance.
Recommended weapon modifications for MP5
We recommend the following modifications and attachments for MP5:
- 10mm Auto 30-Round Mags - it will slightly reduce the gun's rate of fire but also increase its damage and range;
- Subsonic Integral Suppressor - thanks to this extra add-on you will be able to hide the skull icons of eliminated opponents - you gain a lower chance of being detected;
- Ranger Foregrip - greatly increases your control of the weapon.
