Notice that your current progress has been saved here. This doesn't mean you shouldn't continue attacking German soldiers. Thankfully, there's going to be only a few of them left and you can also surprise some of the Germans. Keep heading east. Take cover behind the barrels, next to a truck [#285].

Consider allowing one of your teams to get here after you've dealt with enemy units. Keep pushing east. Order your men to take cover behind a new object (7 on the map) [#286]. Prevent them from getting shot at by enemy troops, because they may die while trying to get to this new area.

Notice that you're getting closer to the first cannon. This means you'll have to be even more careful, because the 88 will obviously attack you if you find yourself standing in the line of fire. For now you should consider taking cover behind a tree (7 on the map) [#287]. You should be able to kill at least a few soldiers from here. You can also consider moving to your left if you're having some difficulties finding them. Neutralize one of the machine gun posts before moving on.

I would recommend moving alone towards the 88. Choose a cover located to the north (8 on the map) of the cannon or proceed directly to the south. I guess you won't be surprised to hear that you should use grenades here [#288]. Remember to keep moving, so you won't be an easy target for German troops.

Try getting as close to the 88 (9 on the map) as possible before proceeding with the assault. Prevent the cannon from turning towards your location, because it would be extremely difficult to leave the cover safely. Take out the crew, place an explosive charge and wait for an explosion to occur [#289]. You can ask your teams to get here in the meantime.
