On this page of the Biomutant game guide, you will find the most important information about merchants. You will learn where to meet merchants, what goods they offer, and how to get better prices for the goods you buy and sell.
In the game world, you can find different traders offering different goods. They are marked with special icons on the world map. You have to visit different people if, for example, you want to buy weapons, armor, or crafting parts. The only recurring items in different traders' offers may be consumables.
You can find merchants mainly in the villages and forts of friendly tribes. In the second case, you have to take over an enemy post or fort for new stores to open.
You can also come across individual traders as you travel through the game world - for example, they can be found along major routes.
Note that you can not only buy goods from merchants but also put up your items for sale. This will allow you to accumulate Green, the main currency in the game world, quite efficiently.
Important note! Be careful not to sell equipment in use or other valuable items accidentally. The game allows you to buy back these items, but their price will be much higher than the amount of green you received when you completed the transaction. Only unique or quest character items (e.g. Klonkfist) are "safe" and the game will not let you sell them.
Traders' prices are influenced by the Charisma attribute and the associated Barter. You can set a higher charisma (at the expense of other attributes) when creating a new character. You can also invest in charisma development every time you advance to a higher experience level (you can increase it by 10 points each time). Charisma influences:
- Prices of goods bought from merchants - The higher the attribute, the lower the prices will be.
- Prices for selling items - The higher the value of an attribute, the better deals you will get for the goods you sell.
