Back 4 Blood: Versus Mode Guide Back 4 Blood guide, tips

On this page of the Back 4 Blood tutorial, you will learn about the versus mode and the rules of the game, as well as family selection.

On this page of the guide to Back 4 Blood, you will learn what the Versus mode is – and it is a mode in which two teams face each othe – zombies versus people.

Rules of the game

The Versus mode is a standoff between two teams of up to four players. The people team has a bit of time to prepare the right weapons and equipment, and get ready for the attack of the zombie team. At the same time, the zombie team chooses the units they want to control and places them on the map.

The battle is won by the team that wins more rounds, and a match consists of three rounds. To win a round, you need better time than the opposing team. This means that if the defending team (in this case the team consisting of people) survived for 2 minutes, then in the next match, as zombies, they must defeat the opposing team in under 2 minutes.

Zombie selection

While in the case of defense, the case looks simple, because you only need to collect the most necessary items and then defend against zombies, the attack phase is a little different - Back 4 Blood: Versus mode - Basics - Back 4 Blood game guide

While in the case of defense, the case looks simple, because you only need to collect the most necessary items and then defend against zombies, the attack phase is a little different. At the beginning, the zombie team selects their characters. The available zombies are Stinger, Reeker, Tallboy, and Common.

Each type of zombie has a slightly different job. A single zombie can rarely win a game, so in both the campaign and the Versus mode, you have to cooperate, even as a zombie. In addition, you can buy upgrades for a particular type of zombie to make your gameplay easier.

When the defending team chooses the best position for their defense and prepares for a zombie attack, the attacking team can watch exactly what the defenders are doing - Back 4 Blood: Versus mode - Basics - Back 4 Blood game guide

When the defending team chooses the best position for their defense and prepares for a zombie attack, the attacking team can watch exactly what the defenders are doing. After selecting a particular zombie, you can start moving and also plan how and whom you will attack. The defending team can't see you. They'll only see you when the time reaches 0:00. If you do not like a given type of zombie, you can change your choice before the start of the game, or purchase improvements.
