Pathfinder belongs to supporting Legends. He is the only character in Apex Legends that has the ability to scan the battlefield and determine where the ring will appear next. Moreover, his Zipline Gun can create pathways to inaccessible locations.
Passive ability - Insider Knowledge
Pathfinder is the only character to have the ability to scan special signal survey beacons that reveal the ring's next location. Survey beacons are found on the roofs of the buildings or other elevated locations.
Plan your movements in advance
When you learn the next position of the ring (green ring on the map above) you can plan your movements beforehand. When the enemy gets acquainted with the situation and starts to move for the safe zone, you can wait for him there.
Tactical Ability - Grappling Hook
Using the Grappling Hook, you can easily and safely get to a location unavailable to other players. Interestingly, the rope with the hook can also be used to incapacitate enemies!
The range of the Grappling Hook
To use this gadget well, you need to study the effective range of the Grappling Hook. This will allow you to avoid a situation where you cannot connect with your target, losing valuable seconds.
Pulling Enemies
You can use the hook line during combat to pull your opponent into an ambush. A hit opponent will not be able to move until they are next to the Pathfinder. From such a short distance, you can inflict enormous damage on your opponent using a rifle. This is the perfect way to eliminate targets one by one.
Special Ability - Zipline Gun
Pathfinder can create a zipline that can be used by all players. Remember that the zipline gun has a serious range, so you can easily create a pathway to one of the elevated locations.
Duration
A once-placed zipline stays in the same place to the end of the match. You cannot destroy it in any way.
