In APEX LEGENDS you need to be fast, have a good eye, shoot with precision. You need to find enemy position fast and defeat them as soon as you get a chance. We have prepared a list of tips helpful in the first few matches in APEX LEGENDS.
Below you can find a choice of tips that can prove to be handy when playing Apex Legends. The tips are mainly dedicated to novice players who are just beginning their adventure with Battle Royale games. If you are completely new to the genre and haven't spent a lot of hours playing Fortnite Battle Royale, check the section below for help. Your role in the party
In Apex Legends, you assume control of a hero known as Legend. Each of the Legends is characterized by their possessed skills (passive skill, tactical skill, and ultimate skill) which should be studied before beginning the game itself. Every team can only hold one hero of the given type. When choosing your Legend, have the team setup in mind, in order to create an effective squad.
Offensive character
If you are an offensive player, like to chase opponents and be in the center of the action, consider choosing professional soldiers such as Bangalore or Bloodhound. Bangalore is a very mobile character, can call for an artillery strike, or create a smoke screen in case of retreat. On the other hand, Bloodhound is a real hunter, who will easily lead his squad to the closest target.
Defensive character
If you are more versed towards defense, like to focus the enemy attention on yourself and protect more vulnerable comrades, choose Gibraltar. His Dome of Protection will allow the whole team to find a safe location and fire at the enemy without worrying about receiving damage!
Support character
Support is somewhat of an unappreciated position in every team. Wrong - each team requires a medic or a capable scout. If you decided to play the part of a medic, choose Lifeline. When it comes to supports, Pathfinder is also a good choice - his Zipline Gun enables the whole team to quickly move to a different location.
Teamwork
Apex Legends focuses on team-based combat, so remember that when you've found yourself on the battlefield. Lone charges and suicide runs will only weaken your squad and lower your chances of a victory.
Essential tip: Don't split up if you are playing in a team
Fights in APEX LEGENDS are very dynamic. That is why you should always stick to your teammates - you will defeat single enemies faster.
Work with your teammates - stay close to them so you are able to eliminate the danger quickly or support the team when attempting to assault the enemy positions.
Use the pinging system - mark enemies, weapons and loot
You've located an enemy location or found a good weapon? Or maybe you've found armor which you currently do not need? Great! This is a great moment to mark such a location on your minimap. To mark an item or a location, all you have to do is to activate the ping menu and choose the right option from the wheel menu.
In APEX LEGENDS, you can mark places or enemy locations. This is a great way to communicate with your team - your teammates will know what they have to do immediately.
Use the voice chat
Communication is the key to success. If possible, use your microphone and communicate with your party through the voice chat. This is a very effective and quick way of warning your teammates which doesn't require you to interrupt your current actions to write a few words.
Reviving wounded teammates
Every defeated player becomes "staggered" before he is eliminated. During this state, you can react and make an attempt to revive your ally. The process is dangerous and takes a lot of time, so make sure that you won't be killed yourself when reviving your teammate.
Resurrecting
In opposition to other Battle Royale games, Apex Legends enables the players to resurrect dead teammates. To do so, you need to open up the chest left by the dead teammate, take his banner card and search the map for one of the automats that will allow you to resurrect him. The whole process takes up five seconds so keep that in mind - you'll be exposed to enemy fire during the procedure. Moreover, the ally will return to the match without any weaponry, so have a weapon ready for him.

Death is just the beginning
If you die, another player can take your banner and place it in a respawn spot.
Remember that:
- A dead player goes back to the game without any weapons nor items.
- Respawn spots are usually more likely to get attacked.
- Reviving takes five seconds - you can't do anything during this period. This makes you an easy target.
Exploring the map
Exploration is an incredibly important aspect of every Battle Royale game, and Apex Legends is no exception. Nevertheless, there are certain aspects to be considered when exploring the world or when chasing an opponent.
Study the map
Apex Legends offers only a single map. Nevertheless, the Arena is spacious - studying it will take time, but it is worth it - after some time, you'll be able to traverse its world intuitively, which will give you an edge over the opponent. The King's Canyon contains many buildings, airports, and military bases, as well as varied landform - all of this can be used to your advantage!
Landing
Apex Legends contains a very interesting landing system. One member of the team decides where you'll be landing, and the remaining players don't have the ability to control their heroes during the flight. Nevertheless, you can send your suggestions by marking them on the map or through the voice chat. If you've noticed that the person controlling the landing attempts to direct you to a mine or isn't adhering to the suggestions laid out on the map or through the voice chat, you can always remove yourself from the team by pressing the button shown on the screen. Unfortunately, removing yourself from the group means that you're on your own.
Ring
The arena in Apex Legends is surrounded by a special ring which as the time progresses, starts to become smaller and smaller. Every player found beyond the safe area receives damage.
No fall damage
In opposition to other Battle Royale games, the player in Apex Legends does not receive fall damage. Make sure to remember this and if the need arises, simply jump out of the building or from a cliff to save your skin.
Red Balloons
During the exploration of the Arena in Apex Legends you are bound to encounter red balloons hanging in the air - these are so-called jump towers. You can climb them using a zip line, and then jump from them and activate your jetpack, enabling you to quickly travel around the map.

Turn up the volume
In Apex Legends, all sounds (steps, fired shots) are easy to hear, for example, if you are inside a building, and someone is running on the outside, you should hear him easily. As a result, it is very important to listen to all sounds coming from the environment and learn to recognize the individual sounds.
Champion hunt
At the beginning of each battle, the game reveals a champion - a player who has managed to win the previous game with a very good score. Eliminating a Champion yields an additional 500 XP.
Gathering equipment
In Apex Legends, you begin each match without weapons and armor - your mission is to find the equipment that will allow you to survive in the Arena. What to look for and where to find the needed items?
Item levels - grey, blue and purple
The items in Apex Legends are grouped according to levels. The item of the worst quality belongs to level 1 category, the item of the best quality - level 3. The colors of the items reflect their quality: from white (normal) through blue, violet, up to gold (legendary).
Where to search for the best items?
The best items are found in military outposts and special transports that land from time to time in random locations around the map. Another location that contains the best equipment are the mobile supply ships. Interestingly enough, if you react fast enough, you can land on one of these transports at the beginning of the match - unfortunately, you need to be prepared to face other players who are attempting to do exactly the same.
Choosing your weapons
The number of weapons you can carry is limited, so choose wisely. For example, you can equip one automatic weapon and one for close combat.

Currently, the game offers eight characters. Each one of the legends has different abilities - some of the characters are great warriors, while others are better medics.
