This page of the guide contains the walkthrough of chapter 10 of Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception. The chapter is titled Historical Research and takes place in one of the Syrian cities. Initially, Nate must explore the city and track one of the NPCs. Later in the chapter, several fist fights will awaits for the character.

After landing in Syria, we follow Elena through the narrow streets of the city [1].

Our goal is the older part of the city [1]. Heading towards it, we will reach a police barricade - we need to turn into the street leading to the left. A friendly resident will open the closed gate [2], thanks to which we can get into a quiet courtyard.

Because the further way is blocked by another police blockage, we look around the yard to find the ladder [1]. We climb up the ladder and then up to the balcony [2].

Once we are inside the building, we head straight ahead and up the stairs [1]. Going further through the building we will pass through the room with plants [2] and go up the stairs and the ladder to reach the balcony.

In addition to the panorama of the city [1], below us we will see Talbot holding Charlie's notebook.

Once the cut-scene is over, we follow Talbot by jumping on the wall of the nearby building [1] and moving to the right side. We follow our target until he enters the building [2] and leaves the door behind him open.

Then we descend the gutters to the ground and enter the building behind Talbot [1]. We will receive a few surprise blows and will fall into the yard to fall against a group of enemies [2].

Once the thugs are dealt with, a muscle head wearing a kevlar vest and delivering immensely strong blows will join the fight [1]. We focus on countering attacks and escaping enemy grip in order to not get killed prematurely. Once we have dealt with the main enemy, a small group of additional foes will appear. Afterwards, we need to run out of the square [2] and follow our companions.

We run down the stairs, turn to the left into a dark alley [1] and continue our escape to take hide in one of the buildings.
