Doctor Shemp's Realm is the second Boss Realm in Spyro The Dragon. The following chapter is dedicated to the description of the level itself. You can find the walkthrough of the boss fight in a separate chapter.
What is necessary to achieve 100% completion?
Reaching 100% completion on the Doctor Shemp's Realm level will require you to meet the following conditions:
- Collect 300 gems.
- Save 1 dragon.
- Defeat Doctor Shemp.
Walkthrough description
Important: There are no creatures on this level that will drop health regeneration after being defeated.
You must be extremely cautious while travelling through Doctor Shemp's Realm. Not only will you not be able to regenerate your health, but it will also be quite easy to fall off the map at any given moment.
First, break up the chests that are located right next to Spyro's starting position. Afterwards, go straight ahead. There, you will have to deal with a new type of enemy, Kamikaze Tribesmen. They will be unleashed by a Fat Lady. You have no way of killing the Tribesmen, you must avoid them until they either hit a wall or fall into the abyss. You can use rock ledges, on which gems are often located, in order to dodge out of the way of incoming Tribesmen.
After passing the gorge, you will enter into another fight with more Fat Ladies. After their destruction, an area that allows you to elevate up to a higher level will be activated. Skip it and head towards the small, square tower. There you will find another Fat Lady. Afterwards, you will be able to reach the roof of the building, where you will find more gems.
After that, you will be ready to go back to the first teleport. Approach it and use it. You will reach something in the shape of a tunnel. You can fly from there to one of the rock ledges located nearby. You will find a key to a chest and some gems there.
After going deeper into the tunnel, you will find the only dragon that you can save on this level. This is a quite important moment since the game will be saved at this particular point. The boss fight is the only thing left for you to beat on this level.

After the fight, you can collect the remaining gems and open all chests.
