After you craft a weapon, it is best to spend some time exploring the vicinity of the camp and, at the same time, hunt for some animals in this area. This is important, as it allows you to obtain some experience points that you will later on need to develop Lara's skills. Search through the area and collect as many resources as you can. Note bird nests - knocking them off branches with bow and arrow allows you to collect feathers for arrows. Try to read the inscription on the monolith, which marks locations of ancient coins on your map. Occasionally, you can spot something glitter on the snow and, after you approach the spot, your game pad will start vibrating. This means that there are coins or survival caches hidden here. As soon as you have enough of them, approach the tree that Lara's instinct is highlighting. Take a double jump, bounce off the tree trunk, climb onto the branch and from there, jump onto the higher fragment of ground.
