The Silverback Is Dead | Isle of the Dead - Quests Risen 2 Guide

This quest is triggered and automatically completed after killing the Silverback [#1]. The beast is connected with The Hunter's Curse quest - and it should be killed in the course of it. You can of course kill it before talking to Motega [#2] (the quest giver), but it involves loosing an additional amount of Glory points.

You can find the hunter in one of the houses. He'll tell you that he has been punished by Mara and has too look at the beast he cannot kill for all eternity - the Silverback itself. Since you'll need the ghost's help (see: The Skull Sceptre), you can help him slay the monster. Go with him to a cave [#3] and then to where the beast lives [#1] (see: Follow Motega). Talk to him there to activate and complete The Hunt quest. Now you need to kill the beast.

You can defeat the gorilla on your own or with the hunter's help.

Attack the Gorilla and strike as many blows as you can - he's not too resilient, so he should go down soon enough. If you can't take him on your own, retreat to Motega and he'll help you out. Even if he kills the beast, you'll still receive the Glory points - there's nothing to worry about.

Rewards:

• 50 Glory points for completing the quest;
• 50 Glory points for killing the Silverback.
