"Yo ho ho! And a bottle of rum!"

Set several years after the end of Risen, raging titans have devastated the world and pushed humanity to the brink of existence. Subsequently, monstrous creatures have risen from the watery depths of the sea and their attacks have brought all seafaring to a grinding halt. The hero, now a member of the Inquisition, is sent out to find out how to stop the chaos caused by these creatures from the deep. His quest begins with rumors that the pirates who frequent the southern islands are the only ones who know a way to get rid of the creatures once and for all and end their reign of terror.

With an all-new pirate-based theme, Risen 2: Dark Waters aims to combine the most loved classic RPG gameplay mechanics of the original Risen with a fresh theme and setting on a huge variety of themed island locales. A third-person role-playing game set in a dark and gritty universe, Risen 2: Dark Waters maintains the most immersive features of the original Risen, with multiple approaches to every challenge allowing players to shape the game world based on their own decisions. These choices will serve to unlock new paths, features and additional skills for the character. Together with a highly interactive environment and a full day/night-cycle affecting countless aspects of the game world, Risen 2 will be set in the most immersive RPG game world so far.

HEEEELP!!!!! Been stuck for over a week!! How do I use the Skull sceptre?? I need to summon Steelbeard so I can go to the Water Temple. I spoke with him on the Island of the Dead and I spoke Alvarez and Patty, but they all say I need to speak to Steelbeard to get the exact location. I've tried going back to The Island of the Dead. Even tried to go back to the underworld, but it doesn't help... I play it on Playstation 3. I see in other forums that people have the same problem, but they all play it on Xbox 360 so they got answers from others and found the right combination of buttons to press.... I've played this game for two months now. I don't want to get stuck at the end! Please help me! Thank you.

Menalak 21/05/2012 02:33

Okay how come this guide says to wait to return the clothes to Largo when you have no option to? As soon as I got the last item it simply said the quest was done and when i go to Largo he has no other chat option that "Can you make me a better theif?". Someone please explain what I am missing.

This is about the Quests Butch Has To Go, Create Butch's Voodoo Doll , Down Into The Cave and Give Butch A Thrashing. While i sided with the Natives at the Sword Coast the only epiphany i got from the dialog with Miles was to get Butch in the cave and kick his ass, no option about voodoo that i could see appeared. Perhaps my copy of Risen 2 somehow messed things up , i do not know for sure.

Stranger 11/05/2012 18:21

Another large set of new pages has been added (detailed info in the changelog). EnjoY! :)

Questions in my previous post solved. If you care, here's a solution: The door locked by two altars in the Air Temple works as expected, and there are idols (though you don't necessary *have* to use these ones) that fit the altars in the Temple. To get both of them, you'll need the Thief's Bone Hand (that is, you'll have to deal with Garcia first). The first is hidden but accessible without the hand; in the central crossways of the "hidden" part of the Temple (the room with the immovable grate, more on that in a moment), there are four paths that can be taken. Assuming you enter from the Temple's main entrance, you will be facing the grate, and to your left and right will be ledges leading off to other rooms. The left leads off to the door blocked by the altars and the right leads to a room with miscellaneous treasure. Hop up on the ledge to the right and look immediately to your right - on top of a decorative pillar (pretty easy to miss, actually) is one idol. It is almost out of reach (probably intended to be accessed with the Hand, but it isn't necessary), but not quite. The second is in the room behind the grate. To lift it, you will need the Thief's Bone Hand. Take aim with the hand and on the other side of the grate will be a lever you can interact with. In this room is the second idol and some miscellaneous loot. Once you have the two idols in hand, you can place them on the altar locks on the final room of the Temple, revealing a room with two Warriors and various high-value native junk. So. That's that.

tank a lot mentally disabled ninja i spend hour in the caldera beach looking for the comb fuck yes. now i get it

mentally disabled ninja 09/05/2012 03:24

@Egoraptor i have not done the Isle of the Dead yet but you do have Steelbear's hat don't you? perhaps you need to take it off if you are wearing it. (not sure if this is the item you need) @Odlanir the comb is in a chest in the cave but the chest is hidden because its from a treasure map.You can find the treasure map inside a chest that is located in the garrison (in the room with a lot of bed if i am not mistaken). Hope i helped.

RealGone 08/05/2012 21:01

SO. The Air Temple on Storm Island (DLC). There's a door ("hidden;" you have to use your monkey to pull a lever to reveal it) that has two altars the likes of which we've seen before on various other islands (including in the Earth Temple). There are, however, no idols in the temple to be placed on them, and an idol I had sitting in my backpack from some treasure chest elsewhere on the island didn't work. Anybody get past this door yet? Also, there's a grate that cannot be interacted with elsewhere in the temple, but I assume it is tied to this door and these altars somehow. Help a brother out?

Rigolax 08/05/2012 16:24

To vjalls : The hilt of the Soul Caller is in a locked chest (difficulty around 35-40) on the beach you find the treasure of Puerto Isabella, next to the town.
