Hano Grand Resort

Time for a small holiday? - Hano Grand Resort and Aether Paradise | Walkthrough - Game walkthrough - Pokemon Moon Game Guide
Time for a small holiday?

To visit the hotel, you need to return to Heahea City. Use Charizard, or return through Diglett Tunnel. Visit the previously locked bridge on the right from Poke Center. Cross through the bridge to get a head start to your objective. Before you enter the location, get down to the beach on the right. A Zygard Cube Fragment can be found by the first umbrella. If you gathered all fragments up to that point you'll receive information to visit Aether Base in Route 16 to learn what to do with the acquired fragment. Travel across the beach and accost people around you - one of them will give you an item called Soda Pop. You'll also receive some additional side quests that task you with catching Pyukumuku lying on the ground and put them back into the water. The quest is worthwhile - it rewards you with 20 thousand in cash. Follow the beach until you see some bubbles on the sand. It means wild pokemon that will attack you if you come closer. You can encounter pokemons such as:

  • Staryu
  • Sandygast

Defeating them yields you Stardust and Star Piece. All is left to do is to board Lapras and visiting the coastal areas by the beach. There is a small beach in the middle of the water containing Black Glasses. The whole marine area contains: Dive Ball, Antidote, and Pearl String. You'll be mainly attacked by Tentacool. You'll encounter a lot of enemies while exploring the basin:

  • Lawrence, who will send two pokemons: An lvl 24 Wingull who is easily countered by an electric pokemon, and an lvl 25 Barboach.
  • Laura has two pokemons: an lvl 24 Finneon, and an lvl 25 Shellder. As previously, I recommend using electric or grass pokemon.
  • Now it's time for Roddy, who has only one pokemon, an lvl 25 Gyarados.
  • Chelsea will send one pokemon, but this time you'll be facing an lvl 25 Pyukumuku.
  • Logan is your next encounter: he'll be fighting with only one pokemon, an lvl 25 Wishiwashi.
  • Alicia is your last enemy here. She will send an lvl 25 Psyduck.

When you are ready, proceed to the hotel. Inside, you'll find a man who you've saved from Skull gang. You'll learn about Aether Paradise, and visit it right away.

Aether Paradise

Time to visit a Pokemon shelter

To receive an update to the task, follow the passageway on the right. Hau is standing near it. Then proceed ahead in Aether Paradise until you reach a woman with long hair, called Lusamine. She is a guardian of this strange area. After a short cut-scene, you'll begin a fight with the strange creature.

  • ??? is at 27 lvl, consider using a psychic pokemon to defeat him.

Once you've won, the new pokemon will disappear. You'll receive TM29 Psychic as a reward. You'll be transported to a new island after a while.
