List of trophies and achievements | Hitman Blood Money Hitman: Blood Money Guide

Last update: 15 January 2019

In this chapter of our guide, we listed all trophies/achievements for Hitman: Blood Money. Every one of them has a description of how to unlock it and our commentary on how to get them the easiest way. We also prepared additional information, for example, how much time does it take to unlock the platinum trophy.

You can collect trophies/achievements on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. The same ones you can unlock in the remastered version of the game, which is part of the Hitman HD Enhanced Collection released in January 2019 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

General information about trophies/achievements in Hitman: Blood Money

  1. Hitman: Blood Money offers 25 trophies/achievements - 15 brown trophies, 9 gold trophies, and a platinum trophy. The platinum one is available only for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
  2. Unfortunately, unlocking achievements isn't possible on the PC version. It doesn't support the achievement system even if you have the game in your Steam library.
  3. All trophies/achievements are unlocked in the single player mode. The game doesn't have any multiplayer mode.
  4. Unlocking the platinum trophy should take you about 20 hours. The game isn't very long, and you can replay the stages. If you play it for the first time, learning the map can take you more time. Additionally, the Notorious trophy/achievement may require completing the whole game again (more information below).
  5. The Notorious trophy/achievement is the only one, which can be missed during the campaign. Agent 47 has to become the world's most wanted. You can't meet the requirements of this trophy replaying only one mission. The best way to unlock it is to leave this trophy for the second time you play the campaign. You'll be able to finish the game faster, without worrying about cameras, hiding the bodies or killing civilians.
  6. Hitman: Blood Money has a few trophies/achievements related to the difficulty level on which you finish the campaign. Choose the highest difficulty level (Professional) - thanks to that you'll be able to unlock the trophies/achievements for all difficulties.

Perfect Assassin

Trophy type: platinum

How to unlock: Unlock all trophies.

Commentary: Platinum trophy can be unlocked only in the PS3 and PS4 versions.

1st Mission Complete

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Death of a Show man completed on any difficulty.

Commentary: One of the easiest achievements. You can play on the lowest difficulty level, Rookie, and finish the mission at any time with any rank.

Rookie Mode Complete

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Completed Rookie difficulty.

Commentary: Rookie is the lowest difficulty level. It's best to choose the highest difficulty (Professional) and unlock a few trophies/achievements at one go. For more info check the Professional Mode Complete trophy description.

Normal Mode Complete

Trophy type: gold

How to unlock: Completed Normal difficulty.

Commentary: This is the medium difficulty level. It's best to choose the highest difficulty (Professional) and unlock a few trophies/achievements at one go. For more info check the Professional Mode Complete trophy description.

Expert Mode Complete

Trophy type: gold

How to unlock: Completed Expert difficulty.

Commentary: This is the high difficulty level. It's best to choose the highest difficulty (Professional) and unlock a few trophies/achievements at one go. For more info check the Professional Mode Complete trophy description.

Professional Mode Complete

Trophy type: gold

How to unlock: Completed Professional difficulty.

Commentary: This is the highest difficulty level, and you should choose it for your first playthrough. Thanks to that you'll unlock Rookie Mode Complete, Normal Mode Complete, and Expert Mode Complete trophies/achievements at the same time.

Here are the most important features of the Professional difficulty level:

  1. You can't save your progress during the mission. Play each stage several times to learn the map and to plan the best way to eliminate the mission objective(s). Then, try to put the plan in motion.
  2. Only the most important things are marked on the map - mission objectives, Agency pickups, and available exits. While exploring the map, pay attention to the location of the opponents, routes patrolled by enemies, cameras, and interactive objects, which can help Agent 47 completing his contract.
  3. Your mistakes have much more serious consequences. This especially applies to your Notoriety Level. If you made a mistake and your Notoriety Level increased, Agent 47 can be recognized by NPCs in the next missions. Try to leave as few signs of your presence as possible. The game has a Notorious trophy/achievements for being the most wanted, but it's best to take care of it during a separate playthrough.
  4. Characters on the map are more sensitive to sounds. Especially if it comes to the weapons. Even if you use the silencer, your shots can be noticed by observers (foes or civilians). It's best to eliminate the targets in secluded places and, if possible, use the alternative methods of killing, e.g. garrote.
  5. The health of Agent 47 doesn't regenerate, and he's less resistant to enemies attacks. Not a very important change given that you should focus on completing every stage without being noticed and not engage with anyone in firefights.

Redemption

Trophy type: gold

How to unlock: You can't keep a good man down.

Commentary: Complete the epilogue. Requiem stage is available after the twelfth, final mission. Despite the credits being displayed, it's an interactive part of the game. You can stop pretending to be dead and proceed to eliminate the characters on the map. Finishing the outro is rewarded with a trophy/achievement.

Accidents Do Happen...

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: A successful accident kill has been performed.

Commentary: The trophy offers a lot of freedom of action. Throwing someone into a chasm, dropping a heavy object on someone, or using poison is considered an accident.

What's important, trophy/achievement doesn't apply only to the mission objectives. For example, you can arrange an accident with a guard. However, you can't kill innocent civilians. The trophy is unlocked when the mission is completed, not immediately after the assassination.

47 Kills

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: A mission has been completed with precisely 47 kills.

Commentary: To obtain this trophy/achievement, you can replay one of the missions (e.g. second one - A Vintage Year) on Rookie difficulty. It'll allow you to eliminate enemies easily and to save game without restrictions. You can kill innocent people too.

We recommend you to make two manual saves - one before killing about 40 people, and the second one just before the end of the mission. Thanks to that you'll be able to get back to the stage if you eliminate the wrong number of people. The trophy is unlocked after completing the mission and displaying a window with its summary.

5 Normal Silent Assassins

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: 5 Silent Assassin ratings awarded on the Normal difficulty.

Commentary: It's best to choose the highest difficulty (Professional) and unlock a few trophies/achievements at one go. For more info check the 5 Professional Silent Assassins trophy description.

5 Expert Silent Assassins

Trophy type: gold

How to unlock: 5 Silent Assassin ratings awarded on the Expert difficulty.

Commentary: It's best to choose the highest difficulty (Professional) and unlock a few trophies/achievements at one go. For more info check the 5 Professional Silent Assassins trophy description.

5 Professional Silent Assassins

Trophy type: gold

How to unlock: 5 Silent Assassin ratings awarded on the Professional difficulty.

Commentary: You should try to get this ranks by playing the Professional difficulty. It'll allow you to unlock 5 Normal Silent Assassins and 5 Expert Silent Assassins trophies/achievements at one go.

We included information on the requirements to obtain the Silent Assassin rank in the Silent Assassin trophy description. You don't need to get five ranks during a single playthrough. After completing the campaign for the first time, you can choose the missions you want to replay from the main menu.

Silent Assassin

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: A Silent Assassin rating has been awarded.

Commentary: Silent Assassin is the highest rank granted for mission completion in Hitman: Blood Money. You can get it in every mission except the first (Death of a Showman) and epilogue (Requiem).

Here are the most important requirements for obtaining the Silent Assassin rank:

  1. Kill only the mission objective(s). In the case of guards, you can arrange an accident - for example, drop a heavy load on the opponent. It's risky, so it's best to avoid killing other characters completely.
  2. Hide the bodies of stunned/killed characters. No body can be left in sight at the end of the mission. You can hide them in various wardrobes or containers.
  3. Don't let anyone notice you. Agent 47 can't be spotted in restricted areas without wearing a disguise, with weapons and other dangerous objects out of the inventory, or while sabotaging objects (e.g. fuse boxes). Also, there can't be any witness at the moment of stunning / killing a character or while hiding a body.
  4. Don't let anyone blow your cover. Avoid situations in which Agent 47 can be recognized even in a disguise. Don't get to close to the guards, avoid locations where you will be searched and don't move with weapons out.
  5. Put the Agent 47 suit on before completing the mission. If you used a disguise in a mission, you have to put on your "starting" outfit again before reaching one of the exits.
  6. Get all forbidden items out of the view before completing the mission. Mainly the weapons. Place them in the Agent 47 inventory or hide them in one of the ICA containers on the map.
  7. Avoid security cameras. Don't try to destroy them. Just remember their location and keep a safe distance. However, getting caught on camera doesn't necessarily mean failing in obtaining the Silent Assassin rank. In this situation, you have to get to the guarded area where it's possible to destroy the recordings.

Notorious

Trophy type: gold

How to unlock: 47 is the world's most wanted.

Commentary: This is probably the hardest trophy to get because you have to play the whole campaign (12 missions) in a certain way. Agent 47 has to become the Most Wanted and to achieve this your Notoriety Level must reach the maximum level (100 points). Notoriety points are granted for leaving traces of your actions. You have to deliberately play "badly" in order to become the most wanted person.

Here are proven methods for increasing the Notoriety Level:

  1. Kill as many enemies as possible and let the civilians find their bodies. Completely ignore the option to hide the corpses.
  2. Don't use the silencer. Let your gunshot to alarm people in the area. Remember to leave the place immediately if you don't want to take part in the open fights with many guards.
  3. Let Agent 47 to be recorded on security cameras. Don't even think about destroying the recordings.
  4. Leave the weapons and the starting suit in the open. Let them stay in the view after finishing the mission.

The rate of obtaining the notoriety points depends on the chosen difficulty level - the higher the level, the faster you get them. However, it's more problematic to play at higher difficulty levels. We recommend choosing the normal difficulty for this trophy and simply play as "carelessly" as possible. This should allow you to accumulate 100 points before reaching the end of the campaign.

All Firearms Collected

Trophy type: gold

How to unlock: All firearms collected and displayed in Hideout.

Commentary: A time-consuming achievement, although you can gradually fulfill its requirements. Here is the most information important about it:

  1. New weapons can be found during the missions. In total, there are 19 different models to be found (we listed them below).
  2. Only the modern firearm is counted. You don't have to find historical or melee weapons.
  3. You can visit the hideout at any moment during the main missions. That way you can determine which weapons you're missing to get the entire collection.
  4. To add a weapon to your collection, you have to take it with you outside the area of the mission. After eliminating the mission objective(s), put the weapon in the inventory or place it into the ICA container on the map. The weapons left in view won't be "transported" to Agent 47's hideout.
  5. You can replay the mission to find missing weapons. Remember to end the repeated mission and save the progress.
  6. You can lose a weapon from the collection if you drop it during the mission. If you took a unique gun with you on a mission, don't let it stay on the map. Hide it in the inventory or in the ICA container.

High Roller

How to unlock: $5,000,000 have been accumulated.

Commentary: Agent 47 is rewarded in cash for each contract (mission), but an important requirement of this trophy/achievement is that you have to accumulate at least $ 5 million in your account at once. Don't spend the money on upgrades. Leave them untouched until you unlocked the trophy.

The amount of cash received for the contact depends on many factors. Here are the most important ones:

  1. Difficulty level - The higher the difficulty level, the more money you earn.
  2. The rank for completing the mission - Try to get the Silent Assassin rank which is the most profitable.
  3. Receiving penalties - You can be penalized if you kill a civilian or leave traces of presence (bodies left in the open, starting outfit, weapons, etc.).
  4. Repeating a mission - You can replay the already completed mission, but you'll receive extra cash only if you do better than in the previous playthrough. If you've already received the highest reward for completing the mission, you can't get additional cash.

The game sums up the funds separately for each level of difficulty. Play the missions at the same difficulty level to collect more money. Changing the difficulty doesn't mean the loss of collected cash, but to recover it, you'll have to re-select the same settings and continue the game.
