The Fire Chalices (31/40)

These items are the first ones you have to look for. There are twelve of them and you have to look for them in the whole world. This map shows you locations you have to visit.

1. Vengard – paladin Markus gives you a chalice. He is the first person you meet in Vengard after using a teleport rune.

2. Cape Dun –Urkrass the Orc merchant has the chalice. You can buy it from him (it costs you 100 gold pieces).

3. Okara – Rakus the Fire mage has the chalice. You can find Rakus in his cave where he is hiding from the undead. He gives you the chalice if you do a quest for him.

4. Geldern – the chalice is in Geldern mine. Check the tunnels and you find the chalice at the end of one tunnel (you need a torch to see it).

5. Silden – the chalice is in the Zapoteck’s house. You have to steal it (it’s on the table).

6. Nemora –Treslott the magician has the chalice. Do a quest for him and you get the chalice.

7. Trelis – paladin Konrad has the chalice. He gives you that if you ask. .

8. Montera –Bengerd the slave has the chalice. He is one of the slaves working near the temple. Talk to him and ash him about things he found.

9. Varant border – bandit Kurt has the chalice. You have to kill Kurt and take the chalice from his chest. Paladin Karlen can help you in the battle.

10. Mora Sul –Masil the merchant has the chalice. He gives you that if you do e few quests for him.

11. Mora Sul – the wounded sandcrawler swallowed the chalice. Find a paladin Cruz and let him to show you the place he fought against crawlers. Kill the beast and take the chalice.

12. Monastery –Milten has the chalice. He gives you that if you ask.

	The one guy u escort is back where u started from in Vengard. When u escort them back they take up positions on the ground near Corbyn in the outer area of the castle. Hiding in plain sight. LOL this post has been modified by its author [2009-07-15 22:18:45]	Mongo1 15/07/2009 21:18
	I can't find other 3 paladins in Venguard except Corbyn, after the fight with the orcs temple is empty, there are no paladins there. there was one guy that I needed to escort to the castle but he's lost, and the guy from the top of the tower, i got him to the castle but now I can't find him. :(	bierkof 15/07/2009 06:00
	hehe yup u were right Mongo1. Indeed there are 4 paladins in Vengard. Thanx again. Btw, i have become Innos' chosen one after failed in finding summon the army of darkness spell from beliar. hehe and yeah the 12th chalice remains unused. have it in my inventory but no use of it. should've increase my magical ability right?! but not happening. anyway, thanx a lot.	cieljigoku 24/11/2008 19:41
	Nope! you were right, but wrong. There are four paladins in Venguard. If you read the thread, the names are given out repeatedely in response to the same question.	Mongo1 21/11/2008 20:50
	ah right i forgot Wenzel that imprisoned Paladin in Cape Dun. but i made some mistakes on the previous post. I did said there are 3 paladins in Vengard. Thats true. but What i meant by Corbyn was actually Thordir. I was remembering the name wrong. Corbyn is the guardsman not paladin. so there are still 10 paladins. I'm missing one more. 	It looks like you forgot Wenzel in Cape Dun, and Thordir in Venguard. There is debate on the 12th, Frithjof in the Fire(?) clan may be the 12th. I became a paladin and was not able to 'use' the FC.	Mongo1 20/11/2008 20:51
	hey i need some help. i want to throw the fire chalices into the sacred fire in the Monastery. but as far as i can remember there are only 9 paladins i can talk to. the 12th paladin would be the nameless hero after choosing Innos' path right. I need 2 more. Correct me if i missed some. I found 3 paladins in Vengard (Corbyn & George-escorted them before and Markus-take his fire chalice to Karypto), and then Konrad in Trelis. Karlen in Nemora (helping killing paladin Kurt). Javier in Reddock, Roland in Nemora, Olivier in Monastery,and last Cruz in Mora Sul outdoor with Yussuf. 	Owen is on a bluff sitting at a campfire between Okara and Rakus cave, if you found Rakus, you should have walked right by the bluff that Owen is camped on. Hint right above three ogres.	Mongo1 17/11/2008 21:07
	cieljigoku cieljigoku.this is for you...... hi! im new here,actually i start game a year ago but didnt finish the game sofar!!!.but i have the answer for your ques......rakus is hiding in the cave near montera..we can see a farm which is opposite to entrance of montera..cave is behind to that farm...so u can find now!!!...i need some ques "people need for okara ques" a person 'OWEN' where can i find him?? did u find him?......then u can find cruz.he is in between the path of mora sul and Temple bensala in( 'STRAIGHT DIRECTION')..u first see the map.a slave and cruz should be there...(if u see any sand crawler beasts)cruz should be near... an important thing,dont forget to with the slave,1)he had a key for temple of mora sul.2)kalesch the orc near temple.3)gonzales.4)some bandit mercernary.5)some merchant i forgot his name.sorry i played this game 6 months before.. but he need to deal with "the fatman"(near the mora sul temple)...i request u must answer for my ques............ 	Anybody please help me (including Mongo1 cos u seem to have mastered d game very well) hehehe.. i bought Gothic 3 since a year ago. played it a bit but didnt finished it. now i got d chance to finish it but i encounter some problems in d game. my first problem is when i try to find Rakus d fire mage in d quest of New people for Okara n d fire chalice. i definitely cant find him. been goin aroun Okara but no result. My 2nd problem is again when i try to find fire Chalice carrioed by the Paladin Cris or Cruz in Mora Sul along with Yussuf who has d key temple of Mora Sul. I only found oasis guarded by beasts and Murat's oasis. But no Yussuf and Paladin Cris. I definetely cant finish d quest of Adanos artifact if i cant open the Temple of Mora Sul right?! Please help me if anybody can give me a more precise clue or location on Yussuf and Paladin Cris and Rakus the fire mage whereabout. Thank U so much. 	As you hand out the chalices, you get experience points, that's all there is to it. I will warn you that it gives each paladin their magic back, so if you choose the Path of the Orcs (Beliar), the battle to clear out Venguard becomes a bit testier. The reward for turning the chalices over to Grok is nowhere near what you get for blessing them and handing them out though.	Mongo1 06/11/2008 23:38
	Using the Community Patch, I can give the 12th chalice to Frithjof without a problem. I was curious, though, what should I do after I have handed out all the 12 blessed chalices? I haven't found anyone yet who would have a new dialogue with me.	xShadoW 06/11/2008 10:21

	Someone help me, please!!!! I'm only liberated cape dun n montera(vengard n gotha doesn't count isn't it?).... BUT I COME TO FARING N THE ORC MERCENARY (of course orc too n hashihin likes ALI ) ATTACK ME there..... why? is it a bug or no? If I come to Nordmar, not through the faring..... Is it Fine? or not? 	You could be right and it was a repaired bug, but when I played it for Innos and became a paladin, Frithjof still would not talk. Since installing the community patch, I only did it for Beliar, since that was the only solution I had not done yet. As for the Rune Sword recipe, I think chest contents varies because I got it and never opened any of the chests in Gonzales place.	Mongo1 28/08/2008 21:25
