As for the launch games for the Xbox Series X, relatively little is known about it. The following titles are sure to be released (some of them will hit the market at their release date, some will be a part of Smart Delivery, while others may appear a little bit later):

  1. Hellblade 2 Senua's Saga - The sequel to the best-selling action game of 2017. In Hellblade II: Senua's Saga, developed by studio Ninja Theory under Microsoft's supervision, players will assume control of a Celtic warrior named Senua.
  2. Assassin's Creed Valhalla - the twelfth installment of a best-selling series from Ubisoft. Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is an action-RPG taking us to 9th century England. During the game, we assume the role of Eivor, whose Viking clan searches for a new home. Release: December 2020;
  3. Cyberpunk 2077 - An open world science-fiction RPG game based on a pen and paper Cyberpunk 2077 world. Cyberpunk 2077 is being developed by CD Projekt RED studio, responsible for the cult-classic Witcher series. Release: November 2020;
  4. DiRT 5 -Another installment of a famed racing series. The game offers a lot of improvements in gameplay mechanics and audiovisuals. The game is being developed by famous Codemasters Software. Release: December 2020;
  5. Far Cry 6 -The sixth installment of a popular FPS series developed by Ubisoft. In Far Cry 6, we are taken to a tropical island of Yara, and our main goal is to dethrone a bloodthirsty dictator - Anton Castillo. Release: February 2021;
  6. FIFA 21 - Next installment of a football series by EA Sports. Similarly to the previous installments, the player controls faithfully recreated football teams and players, fighting for victory on the most famed football arenas. Release: December 2020;
  7. Forza Horizon 4 - The fourth installment of a best-selling open-world racing game series with open world, developed by Playground Games. The game will take us to Great Britain, where we face other drivers while controlling one of over 450 vehicles. Release: December 2020;
  8. Rainbow Six Siege - Another installment of Rainbow Six series, known for its well-received tactical shooters. Release: December 2020;
  9. The Medium - The Medium is a horror in which we assume the role of a woman who can see ghosts attempting to solve the riddle of a murdered child. The game is a new production of a talented Bloober Team, hailing from Cracow. Release: December 2020;
  10. Gears 5 - A fifth installment of a popular TPP shooters in which we assume the role of Kait Diaz, the heroine of Gears of War 4. The protagonist embarks on a journey to a remote part of planet Sera to solve the riddle of the nightmares haunting her, as well as to learn more about Locust's origins.
  11. Yakuza Like a Dragon - An action game which is a new installment of a popular series developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku studios. This time, instead of Tokyo, we land in Yokohama, assuming the role of a new protagonist - Ichiban Kasuga. Release: December 2020;
  12. Halo Infinite - the sixth installment of the wildly popular shooter series. Once again, we'll assume control of Master Chief, who will go to war against Cortana and her guards. Release: December 2020.
  13. Outriders - a dark science fiction shooter with RPG elements from the Polish studio People Can Fly (creators of, among others, Bulletstorm games). In Outriders, we assume control of a crew of a spaceship sent to a distant planet on a mission on which the fate of humanity depends. Release: December 2020.
  14. Watch Dogs Legion - the third installment of Ubisoft's popular game series. The main novelty is the ability to take control of any neutral character. The game's action takes place in postBrexit London, and the plot focuses on the Dedsec hacker group. Release: December 2020.
  15. Gods & Monsters - an open-world TPP action-adventure game developed by the authors of Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Gods & Monsters is set in the realms of Greek mythology and alludes to the myth of the wicked Typhon.
  16. Rainbow Six Quarantine - a secondary installment of the Rainbow Six tactical shooter series, dedicated to co-op gameplay in the survival horror convention. As per tradition, the game is being developed by Ubisoft. Release: December 2020.
  17. The Lord of the Rings Gollum - an action-adventure game developed by Daedalic Entertainment. In the Lord of the Rings: Gollum we assume control of Smeagol, and during playing we witness his transformation into the titular Gollum.
  18. Starfield - a game developed by Bethesda Softworks that allows players to assume the role of space travelers. The title is the first entry in the company's publishing catalog in twenty-five years representing an entirely new brand.
  19. Dying Light 2 - an open-world first-person action game by Polish studio Techland, in which we explore a city destroyed by a virus that turns people into zombies. Dying Light 2 differs from its predecessor with greater emphasis on RPG elements, and introduced moral choices.
  20. Everwild - the new brand of the successful Rare Studio, responsible for games such as Sea of Thieves, Banjo-Kazooie, and Perfect Dark. Everwild takes players into a charming, magical forest full of fairy-tale creatures.
