How to upgrade weapons?
To upgrade your weapons you need some cash, which you can collect by exploring the game world and completing missions.
Remember, however, that the right skills are unlocked only when the proper experience level is reached. You have to constantly fight to develop your character.
What weapons will I find in the game?
In Wolfenstein Youngblood, you can fight with the following: pistol, maschinenpistole, Blitzgewehr, Sturmgewehr, Kugelgewehr, Dieselkraftwerk, Elektrokraftwerk, Laserkraftwerk, and melee weapons. Each firearm can be upgraded in many ways, and the melee weapon can be exchanged for a different, more interesting model.
How to change the color of the weapon?
You can change the color of any firearm. Just choose the right model and you will enter into weapon upgrades. There, at the bottom, you'll find the skin section. When you enter this option you will be able to change the color of your weapon.
Remember, this cosmetic change costs money! Think about whether it's worth to spend some cash of technical improvements rather than playing with weapon's appearance.
How do I get a heavy weapon?
From the beginning of the game you will meet opponents with heavy weapons, but you will not be able to use them yourself. They won't get in your hands until you've completed these story missions: Brother 1, Brother 2 and Brother 3.
If you don't want to wait, you can buy the Bigger Guns skill from the Muscle category. It costs 4 skill points and allows you to lift heavy weapons that have been dropped by defeated enemies. But you can't store them in your inventory.
Collected weapons can only be found in your inventory once you have purchased the Extreme Gun Pocket skill from the Muscle category. It requires advancement to at least 20 levels of experience and an additional 6 skill points.
Weapons that you will have in your inventory, can be upgraded and modified.
What should be upgraded and improved?
As Wolfenstein Youngblood is a dynamic shooter in which every single blow counts, it is worth investing in the shooting speed of guns. Virtually any weapon and any part of it can be improved to focus on this aspect (shooting rate / speed).
The second important aspect is, of course, level of damage. Acquire skills that will provide you damage bonuses. Feel the power of your weapons.
The last important element is, of course, the capacity of the clip. Since the streets of Paris are full of ammunition and corpses that may contains some ammo, you need a lot of place to pick up dozens of bullets or missiles. A large magazine will give you an advantage in the fight, because you will rarely worry about how many bullets you have left.
