The city in the game is quite vast so, as a result, you spend a lot of time behind the wheel of a vehicle, while crossing it. In some missions, you are forced to use a certain means of transport but, in the rest of the cases, you need to obtain one on your own. You can obtain new vehicles in three different ways and each one has been described below.

Look out for parking lots and for cars parked at curbs

The first variant is the theft of a vehicle. It is HIGHLY ADVISABLE that you get the Car Unlock ability for that, at the very beginning of the game (at best, after you complete the first main mission), thanks to which this option becomes available. The main upside of stealing the parked cars is that this is not going to be noted by anyone and you will be able to continue your actions.

You can steal any of the passing cars

The second variant is to pull the driver out of a car. I recommend that you do that whenever you quickly need to obtain ca, or if you found an unique vehicle, which you would like to take a ride on. An IMPORTANT piece of information is that the driver that you pull out of the car, may call the police to report the theft. If you see that the driver is planning on doing that, dash towards them and rip the phone off their hand, before you get into the vehicle. If you neglect to do that, you may have to lose a police pursuit.

The last, third, variant is to use Aiden's phone, i.e. the Car On Demand app, which has been shown in the above screenshot. It is a convenient solution, because you can pinpoint the vehicle that you are interested in. Unfortunately, there are two restrictions involved. First of all, apart from few exceptions, you can only demand those of the cars that you have already driven, at least once. Secondly, Ordering some of the means of transport requires you to spend, as many as several thousand of dollars, or more.
