The game of InXile Entertainment's production has some technical issues. The title has many bugs that may effectively hinder the gameplay.

Sudden game crash (on PS4)

The PS4 version of the game suffers from many optimization problems. The game may stutter and hang (usually during the loading screens of subsequent stages), which often causes the game to crash and close. It happens at random times. However, you can predict when it may happen. Therefore, the only useful solution is to regularly save your progress.

License issues

During the first run of the game you may get a notification which informs you that the license cannot be verified. To deal with this problem you need to reset the Windows Store. You can do this in the application settings, which can be accessed via the start panel - click on the app icon by using the right mouse button.

Long dialogue selection time

Wasteland 3 allows you to modify the time it takes to register your selected dialogue option by the game. If you modify this value then the next time you run the game it may happen that there will be huge numbers in this field, which translates into several hundred hours of waiting.

Bugged buttons while visiting a dealer

As you trade with some merchants and vendors you may get stuck for a longer while. Sometimes the trading panel freezes and buttons are not responsive anymore. Thus, you can't do anything about it. The only option that remains is to quit the game and re-start it.

Character stuck or frozen

From time to time you may come across a rather persistent bug - your characters may get stuck or get frozen on various objects. This is particularly troublesome when the character has to perform some important action. In this case, it is best to take control of the character that got stuck and try to move him or her to other area.
