Last update: 02 August 2018

Burblespue Halescourge is a boss that can be encountered at the end of Halescourge mission (the last mission of the first act) in Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - Burblespue Halescourge | Bosses in Warhammer Vermintide 2 - List of Bosses - Warhammer Vermintide 2 Game Guide

Burblespue Halescourge is a boss that can be encountered at the end of Halescourge mission (the last mission of the first act) in Warhammer: Vermintide 2.

The boss' skills and behavior:

  1. Burblespue Halescourge mainly uses AoE attacks - three small waves, a whirlwind that sucks in all characters who are near it or the boss' copies that are shot in every direction. If you don't avoid these attacks, your character will keep receiving damage for a few seconds.
  2. The boss also uses teleportation - this ability allows Burblespue to reach a higher level that can't be reached by the players. The boss will use ranged attacks and summon hordes of enemies. On higher difficulty levels, these hordes can feature Chaos Warriors. Burblespue also uses teleportation to move around the arena.

Tips and ways of fighting with this boss:

  1. Because of the aforementioned AoE attacks, you should stick to the arena's edge. By doing that you give yourself more time to avoid his attacks. Besides that, there are a lot of objects in the arena that can serve as a cover. If you play as a ranged character, you can move near the arena's edge and attack the boss from that place. Melee characters must get closer to the boss - hide behind the nearest cover when you notice that the enemy is preparing to use one of his abilities. You can also try to run towards the arena's edge.
  2. This boss isn't armored which means that you can attack him anywhere. His weakest spot is the head.
  3. When Burblespue Halescourge teleports to an unreachable spot and summons a horde, all the players should go to a corner and stand in a such way that would allow them to attack the boss with ranged weapons. Ranged characters should focus on dealing damage to the boss while melee heroes should fight with a horde and protect the ranged heroes. You can also get beneath a platform on which the boss is standing - you can attack him from that spot if you carry a longer weapon (e.g. a halberd, a two-handed sword or a spear). Jump and then attack if you carry a shorter weapon.
