Stalkers | Bosses | Warframe Warframe Guide & Walkthrough

Last update: 24 May 2018

This short chapter is devoted entirely to the Stalkers - various field-bosses in Warframe. Here you can learn their locations, the loot you can acquire from them, and how to defeat them.

Stalker

You can encounter the Stalker in every mission on every planet, except for Clan Dojos, Relays, Archwing missions, Syndicate missions and Assassination missions - Stalkers | Bosses | Warframe - Warframe - Bosses - Warframe Game Guide

You can encounter the Stalker in every mission on every planet, except for Clan Dojos, Relays, Archwing missions, Syndicate missions and Assassination missions. The condition for the appearance of the Stalker is being marked (Death Mark - you can check whether you are marked in the details of your profile). After the Second Dream quest, the stronger version of the Stalker will begin to appear - the Shadow Stalker. The more players in a given mission are marked, the greater the chance for the Stalker to appear. The boss has several skills:

  • Slash Dash - an ability similar to that of Excalibur's - deals high damage and teleports to other targets.
  • Shuriken - throws a shuriken, Ash has a very similar skill. Deals slash damage, which can finish off weakened players.
  • Smoke Screen - the ability to disappear by using smoke. Ash possesses a very similar ability.
  • Teleport - also found in the arsenal of the Ash Warframe - the Stalker teleports when he is currently holding a scythe. This is usually combined with Smoke Screen.
  • Reckoning - an ability borrowed from Oberon, with the only difference that he does not knock his opponents down to the ground, but keeps them in the air.
  • Pull - a rarely used ability of the Mag Warframe - it pulls in opponents and stuns them.
  • Absorb - similar to one of Nyx's skills. Probably the most lethal ability. When he has little health, he will use this ability to absorb and return damage to nearby players - the damage can be fatal if players with high damage have continued to attack him at that time.

Stalker is a boss who can easily deal with players when they are unprepared. Be mobile, avoid his skills. Engaging him in melee combat can be a good idea - you can block the attacks from his bow and kunai, and his scythe is much worse than the kunai or bow. However, pay attention to the fact that when you block the blow of his scythe, you will be stunned and vulnerable to damage. Weapons with high DPS burst (e.g. a shotgun) are very effective against him - if properly modded they may not even give him the chance to attack.

As a reward for defeating this foe, you can receive the Despair Blueprint (throwing knives), Dread Blueprint (bow), and Hate Blueprint (scythe). You can also get some of the following mods: Blind Justice), Heavy Impact, Molten Impact, Energy Channel, Intensify.

Shadow Stalker

The principle is the same as in the case of the ordinary Stalker. The only difference is that he will have a different weapon - the War (a two-handed sword). You will meet him for the first time after the Second Dream quest.

In addition to standard skills, he has the ability to adapt to damage - depending on his health, he will adapt to the damage received from the player who inflicted the most damage, and gradually become immune. You can use your Operator's standard attack to remove the immunity for some time. Toxin damage will be the most effective against him.

As a reward for defeating this foe, you can receive the Despair Blueprint (throwing knives), Dread Blueprint (bow), Hate Blueprint (scythe), War Blueprint (heavy sword), and Broken War Blueprint (a one-handed version of the War). You can also get some of the following mods: Blind Justice, Heavy Impact, Molten Impact, Energy Channel, Intensify.
