This short chapter is devoted entirely to the Phorid - an Infested boss in Warframe. Here you can learn his location, the loot you can acquire from him, and how to defeat him.

The boss appears during Invasion missions when the Infested are attacking other factions (Infestation Outbreaks), this happens mainly during the Assassination missions.

This boss is very easy to defeat - any powerful and maxed out weapon will annihilate it in a few shots. If you do not have one, grab a maxed out Warframe (Mesa, Excalibur, Hydroid, Nova) that deals a lot of damage. His basic attack revolves around using his claws. He also fires missiles and uses telekinesis to guide them and is also capable of unleashing a Sonic Scream - this skill inflicts a lot of damage and stuns the Tenno. It does not pose a great threat to players who pay a lot of attention to their weapon mods and Warframes (it is quite likely that this boss will be reworked soon).

As a reward for defeating the boss, you will receive a Nyx Blueprint. You can also get some of the following mods: Molten Impact, Cryo Rounds, Killing Blow, Stretch, Energy Channel.
