Last update: 04 April 2018

With this chapter, you will quickly learn to navigate the interface available during the missions in Warframe - Warframe - Mission Interface - Basics - Warframe Game Guide

With this chapter, you will quickly learn to navigate the interface available during the missions in Warframe. Warframe is a very fast game, so you can miss some of the following things.

1. Minimap

It presents the whole map of the facility in which you currently are. It marks the position of mission targets, enemies and companions from the team. You can switch to a bigger version of the map - by default it can be done with M key.

2. Status and indicators

Here you are informed about all positive and negative effects (like buffs and debuffs) affecting your character. You can also check your health and shield levels here (the red color is health and the blue one is shields).

3. State of the team

Here you can check the state of other players - how much health and shields they have left. If one of them is knocked down, information about it will be displayed here as well.

4. Currently used weapon, skills and energy

Here you can see the currently selected Warframe skill and your energy level.

5 and 8. Mission targets

Mission targets are marked on 3 ways - on the left side of the screen, on the mini map and on the Warframe view. Red targets are usually the ones you must kill and kidnap. Yellow targets must be protected or picked up. Green icons symbolize mission evacuation.

6. Event display

All events like scanning fragments, gaining Focus or activation of passive skills are shown here.

7. Damage dealt

The damage you deal is presented with white numbers. Yellow numbers are critical damage or damage dealt from hiding. Orange critical damage is much stronger than yellow one. Red damage is the strongest. Damage dealt to shields is marked with blue color. Purple damage represents overshield. The damage that can't be dealt because the enemy is invulnerable is colored in gray.
