Ragged Armor is a basic set that will give your character some protection without limiting their mobility. Ragged Armor can be crafted at the beginning of the game - just build a Workbench and get some Leather scraps.

Ragged Armor consists of the following pieces:

  1. Rag tunic: armor 1, weight 2;
  2. Rag pants: armor 1, weight 2.

Leather Armor

Leather Armor is the second (quality-wise) armor set you can create in Valheim. Leather Armor is light, does not limit the character's speed, consists of 4 pieces, and can be crafted after upgrading the Workbench to level 2.

Leather Armor consists of the following items:

  1. Leather helmet: armor 2, weight 1;
  2. Leather tunic: armor 2, weight 5;
  3. Leather pants: armor 2, weight 5;
  4. Deer hide cape: armor 1, weight 4.

Troll Armor

Bronze Armor includes the following items:

Iron Armor

It's also worth knowing that some parts of this set will give your character protection from the freezing temperatures found in the Mountains biome.

The Wolf Armor includes the following items:

  1. Drake helmet: armor 20, weight 3;
  2. Wolf armor chests: armor 20, weight 15, frost resistance, movement speed -5%;
  3. Wolf armor legs: armor 20, weight 15, movement speed -5%
  4. Wolf fur cape: armor 1, weight 4, frost resistance.

Padded Armor is the best armor you can create in Valheim. You will need a lot of iron to make all the pieces of this armor, as well as a large supply of Linen thread. A linen cape works perfectly with this set.

Padded Armor includes the following items:

  1. Padded helmet: armor 26, weight 3;
  2. Padded cuirass: armor 26, weight 10, movement speed -5%;
  3. Padded greaves: armor 26, weight 10, movement speed -5%;
  4. Linen cape: armor 1, weight 4.
