This page of the Valheim game guide will show you how to unlock the Pickaxe (Antler Pickaxe), an extremely useful tool that will greatly speed up the development of your hero and the settlement you are building.
It may take some time before you unlock access to the pickaxe (Antler Pickaxe) in Valheim, as you will have to defeat your first formidable opponent - the boss Eikhtyr. After killing this legendary creature, you will receive a new crafting material Hardantler, which you can use to create the Antler Pickaxe.

You can make Antler Pickaxe at the Workbench - only level 1 is required. In addition to the main material which is Hard antler you will need 10 more pieces of regular wood.
