General information about servers

V Rising offer both official and private servers. Each can hold up to 40 players. Nothing prevents you from creating your own server, but remember that this is essentially a multiplayer title.

You can establish Clans on servers (consisting of up to 4 members on official, and 10 members on private servers) More information about clans can be found on a dedicated page of this guide.

Game modes

There are currently 4 game modes available in V Rising:

1. PvE - on these servers, no player can attack another player, even though building bases and clan creation is possible. . In this mode, the focus is on eliminating AI opponents and bosses.
2. PvP - this mode allows player vs player combat (except for players allied through a clan) Your castle may get invaded by other players, while dying means that the enemy player can pick up your items.
3. Full Loot PvP - this is one of the most difficult game modes in which forming clans is a necessity. In this mode, dying means that you lose all your gathered loot. Additionally, within the specified time frames, you can attack your opponents' castles, rob them, conquer and destroy them.
4. Dou PvP - this mode is similar to Full Loot PvP, but you can play it alone or in coop. This is the perfect mode for two players.

Single player mode

In V Rising, there is no single-player mode or a fixed story that you can follow on your own without interacting with other players. If you want to have a more laid-back experience, choose a PvE server.

Co-op mode

To play co-op in V Rising, you can create clans or choose Dou PvP servers. Creating a clan is free of charge, so you can play with your friends right from the start.

Dedicated Server

In V Rising you can easily create your own private server, which is free of charge. Just enter to the "Private Game" menu.

Then you have to choose the server name, the chosen game mode (PvE or PvP), rules, size of clans, the max amount of players, and password.

You can also create a dedicated server. You can run it on your own computer or use the services of a company that deals with this type of activity. In the case of a dedicated server, you have to determine how important elements and mechanics of the game will work, such as:

1. game mode;
2. castle damage;
3. weapon damage;
4. invading castles (PvP);
5. whether dead player leaves his items;
6. whether a global chat is available;
7. whether you lose all your equipment after dying.
