At the very beginning of Unravel 2 you'll encounter a logical puzzle.

You have to place both characters the right way. Two glowing points are on the tree trunks. You have to reach them using the two weights hanging between them.

Take the green hero beyond the right weight and push the other one using the second character. This will lift one of your characters - when it's high above the ground, swing and jump onto the tree root.

Coil the yarn around the right weight. Jump the down from the root on the left and push the weight towards the rock on the left. This will lift the other character. Swing it and jump onto the spot.

Then just wind up the yarn and pull the hero so that they're in the right spot.
