Uncharted 4: system requirements (PS4)
- Disk space: around 44 GB
- To be able to compete in multiplayer, an active PlayStation Plus subscription is required.
Uncharted 4: PS4 to PS5 upgrade
Uncharted 4 doesn't offer a next-gen patch for PS5 users in traditional form - a free update to all owners of the game. PS4 to PS5 upgrade is paid, as it upgrades the game to its remastered version which is a part of Legacy of Thieves Collection - a full list of contents of this release can be viewed in a dedicated page of this guide.
Nevertheless, Uncharted 4 is fully playable on PS5 version without buying the upgrade (thanks to backwards compatibility), but without it, you don't have access to the unique features of the remaster.
PS5 upgrade will be available from 28 January 2022 and requires either a physical or a digital copy of the game (Uncharted 4 released as a part of PlayStation Plus subscription doesn't apply). PC users can play the remaster only.
The Uncharted 4 remaster on PS5 offers three graphical modes to choose from:
- Fidelity Mode - focuses on the quality of graphics. Allows playing in native 4K in 30 frames per second.
- Performance Mode - aims to provide stable 60 frames per second with a little lower graphics quaility than the Fidelity mode.
- Performance+ Mode - offers highest frame per second ratio at the cost of resolution. Allows gameplay in up to 120 frames per second (provided you have a TV/monitor that allows such framerates), but maintains 1080p resolution.
Moreover, PS5 version offers faster loading times, support for 3D sound and haptic features of the Dualsense controller.
