Chapter 20 information

Head towards the bay with the pirate ships

This chapter of the game consists mainly of long sequences of shooting. Nate and Elena will finally catch up with Sam and his captors. In this chapter, you can obtain as many as five treasures and one journal note, (although the game states otherwise, the other note is in chapter 21).

The way to Sam

Behind you, there is a platform that you can jump off towards the treasure

Right after you start, pass by the stone arch and climb onto the Eastern stone wall. After you climb down on the other side, you can use grappling hook - do not do that, though, turn around and jump onto the platform behind you. Jump onto the stone wall, push off it and jab the piton to cling to it. Then, pull up and collect the first treasure (Jade Flower Pendant). Use grappling hook now to swing over the chasm.

This is the longest shooting sequence in the game. Remember to replenish your ammo on a regular basis

Climb towards the bay. After a while, you will witness a scene in which Sam escapes from his captors. Help him and eliminate guards. Try to rejoin your brother by crossing the ship's cargo. As soon as you reach the beach, there is some more shooting waiting for you. Hop over the barrier behind the ship and make it over to Sam, by cutting through waves of opponents. After the fight, Sam will thrown down a ladder and suggests that you escape together. This is not easy, though, because many of the opponents are armed with heavy arms, such as RPG.

Escape the battlefield

Move over ships and follow Sam and Elena

At some point, Sam and Elena will make it over to another ship. Follow them. An explosion will separate you from them and you will land into water. Swim ahead and resurface occasionally to get some air.

The destroyed truck will reveal a passage

Finally, you will swim out of the ship and new opponents will appear in front of you. Eliminate them. One of them drops an RPG - use it to destroy the truck. This will reveal a passage. Take it to enter the upper level in the building. A dynamic sequence of escape from a truck will ensue. Sprint ahead and do not let yourself be run over. Finally you will meet Sully. He will throw down an ROG to you. Use it to destroy the truck that has been chasing you. After a while, the man will help you up.

Cross the city ruins

Follow the rest to escape the isle

After the cutscene, cross the gate and climb down the stairs. Walk around them and enter the building. Inside, there is the second treasure (Stone Bearded Jug). Join your companions now. Do not follow them when they start crossing the wooden plank and enter the building next to the bridge. You can cross a hole there. Inside, you will find a treasure(Stout Jade Vase). You can now continue to the plane. Push over the cart, thanks to which the rest can climb up. In the next room, jump across the window.

Push over the beam with Sam

Along with Sam, push over the beam and use it to jump over the chasm. Use it to jump over to the other end. After that, pull up the rope and grab on to Sam's hand. Then, jump over to the ledge on the left and use Sully's help to jump over the chasm. Walk past the stone arch and climb onto the building on the right. Next to the bottles, there is a journal note. In here, you will also find the fourth treasure (Painted Spouted Vase). You can now rejoin your companions. To the left of Avery's statue, there is a dilapidated building. In the dark, you will find the last treasure (Mughal Perfume Bottle). Push the cart over. Thanks to this, you will make it ahead and end this chapter.
