On this page of our guide to Uncharted Drake's Fortune you will find a detailed walkthrough of Chapter 14 - Going Underground. Main character will have to make jumps, climb, solve simple environmental puzzles and defeat many opponents. Some enemies will use laser sights and it is worth to be extra careful to avoid their attacks.

Just after descending the stairs, Nate turned right into a small and narrow wall next to the main wall.[1] Another treasure was lying there (Golden Inca Vessel).[2]

Drake moved on - he passed the graves and climbed the wall on his right. He reached the room with a waterfall - he noticed a treasure(x) that was lying below it. To get to the other side, he had to circle the room by using the ledges(1-5).[1] Before he moved up the stairs, he entered the stream of falling water and collected a Golden Skull.[2]

As soon as Nate went up by taking simple stairs, he took cover behind a crate - enemies ran out from behind the larger stairs which were in front of him. He defeated them immediately.[1] When the area was clear, he used a reflector-lit mechanism and opened the grating on top of the stairs.[2] He used this path to get out of the room - through a door in the floor.

Drake reached the temple - he hid behind the first bench and eliminated all enemies (focusing on opponents lurking at the altar armed with laser sights).[1] After getting rid of them, he turned back - at the end of the church between the candles he found an interesting Silver Snuff Box.[2]

When the hero approached the altar, several new bandits appeared - they were quickly eliminated.[1] In order to move on, two bells had to be struck almost simultaneously. Drake was alone and it seemed impossible, but he quickly found a way - all he had to do was to struck one bell and quickly shoot at the other one with his rifle. This opened up a passageway (near the left bell).[2]

In a small room there was a ladder - Nathan used it to get downstairs and jumped down. The hero ran into another room with two sarcophagi - a small rectangular one on the right and a large square one on the left.[1] Two enemies rushed in front of him - they were wiped out quickly. Before Drake moved on, he checked a small spot behind the square sarcophagus - there he found a Silver Spanish Goblet.[2]

Drake followed the trail of headlights - in the next room he encountered three more well-armed bandits. After reaching the end of the road he climbed several walls and found himself in a vast cave. Here he had to a few jumps to get to the building in the middle.[1] There the protagonist eavesdropped on the conversation of two unpleasant thugs. He silently moved through the second exit from the small room. He jumped over the chasm and reached small steps below. There was a Silver Ingot lying next to them. [2]

Then, he walked through a miners' corridor to another room with sarcophagi. He continued his journey and entered a small room with a mechanism. He used it to unlock the passageway. However, before Drake used the mechanism, he turned back[1] - just behind the wall of the entrance(x) there was an interesting and precious mask (Gold and Ruby Inca Mask).[2] After picking it up, the hero opened the door and continued his journey.
