On this page of our guide to Uncharted Drake's Fortune you will find a detailed walkthrough of Chapter 11 - Trapped. The main premise of this stage is to get out of the trap set by your opponents. This means that there will be numerous fights and encounters with enemies like snipers.

It turned out that a trap had been set for Nathan. The hero did not run down the stairs, but jumped over a railing in the back of the stairs. Here he noticed a sniper rifle. However, before he collected the weapon, he hid deep behind the stairs and shot every bandit who dared to approach (he was safe there from the stationary rifle fire and from snipers armed with professional equipment).[1] When it was relatively safe, he has eliminated the sniper and shot the enemies in the distance - first of all, opponents who operated the stationary rifle.[2]

When the hero went deep into the hall (after clearing the area), more enemies came from behind - so he was on his guard and before he went further, he circled the room and made sure that every enemy was neutralized (you may use a stationary rifle here). When things got quiet, Nate used the stairs on the opposite side - there was a mechanism opening the passageway on top of them.[1] After meeting Elena and missing the boat, the two heroes went up the stairs located in a recess - they had to eliminate an enemy on their way.[2]

Upstairs, there was a hall with another stairs leading in both directions - the passage was guarded by a group of opponents (including one enemy equipped with a grenade launcher). After defeating them, Nate headed to the right first.[1] There, on a fragment of a ruined floor in a room with a large window in the background, he found a Spanish Gold Coin. [2]

When Nate collected the treasure, both heroes ran in the opposite direction and finally came across a drawbridge over the abyss. While trying to pass through it, Elena has lost her camera. On the other side, they climbed another staircase[1], but before they ran into the next room, Nate went left, then down, and after that turned left. Behind the stairs, in the corner, there was a Silver Spanish Chalice.[2]

The duo continued their journey and ran through another stairs. They finally left the old building by jumping to the ground, but immediately turned right into dark underground corridors.[1] They ended up in a room with two opponents - one at the bottom and the other on the stone steps. This is where Nate found another treasure, which was hidden under the stairs behind a few crates. It was a mysterious gold figurine (Gold Coatimundi).[2] Then the road led up. Then, Nathan and Elena confronted another opponent and got on a jet ski.
