This page of the guide has a walkthrough for chapter 3 of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves called Borneo. This chapter takes place on the titular Asian island - the heroes must pass through the jungle. It involves not only exploration and climbing, but also fights with opponents. You need to eliminate some of them by using your fists.

Despite some tutorial elements, chapter 3 can be considered the first stage in which you have to rely on yourself. Of course, the difficulty level is still rather low. During its passage, you will encounter four treasures, two of which can be very easily missed. Difficulty level: low Number of opponents: small Chapter type: combat

Move towards the trees. Go through the water to reach the first charge [Secret 1] - it gets armed automatically during the cut-scene.

Continue the path into the depths of the jungle. At some point, you reach a place where you will be forced to climb rocks. As soon as you do this, follow the narrow path to the next place where you have to jump down.

The first two enemies are behind the trees [secret 2]. Eliminating them isn't a problem - you can also eliminate them stealthily. You have to wait a bit for the right moment. More enemies are a few steps ahead, and some of them will be on the stone shelves (one of them has a machine gun). Use the stumps located there to get a cover.

Once all the enemies are dead, look around to find a fragment of wooden structures. Go there and climb them - jump towards the wooden beam (photo on the right). Swinging on it and jump to get to the stone ledge where the enemy with a machine gun stood.

Don't jump down - head towards the next shelf to reach the rock. Push it to unlock the passage. Walk a bit and you will reach a stump located above the passage. Use it to get to the other side.

You encounter several opponents - hide behind the covers and eliminate them. This shouldn't be difficult. When the threat is over, go in the direction from which the enemies fired at you - you will find a wooden wall. Climb it [secret 3] and jump to the other side.

You will get to the camp with several opponents. Eliminate the first two stealthily (run to the first when he turns back, eliminate the other when he gets closer - see the picture on the right). Kill the rest with any of your firearms. Remember, when you are hidden, you can easily get a headshot that will kill an enemy instantly.

Stand on the first arbor and clear the second one. Then run to it because it is a great spot to eliminate the remaining enemies. While you are hidden, lean out of the cover and blow up the generator (the characteristic red object presented in the picture). The explosion will kill several enemies at the same time.

Meanwhile, keep shooting until every enemy is dead. The only thing that can force you to get out is either the inability to hit anyone or lack of ammunition. Speaking of weapons, during this fight you can pick up shotguns and Wes-44, which kills with a single shot.

Your task is to arm four charges, the first two are located near the first gazebo.

The third is near the second and the last is near the place where the generator was located (you can destroy it to make the fight easier).

Go to the ladder - it is in the place from where the new enemies came - and boost the friend. When you are at the top, you will come across an empty camp. Head towards the waterfall.

Watch a cut-scene after which you will be thrown into the water. There will be four enemies, three at the start and a fourth later. The fight isn't the most difficult, but if they take too much of your health points, run until it is restored. After defeating all enemies, climb the rope [secret 4].

Move along the blue wire. After a few steps, the chapter will end.
