On this page of the Trek to Yomi guide, you can find information about the secrets in chapter 1. We have included information about the locations of all the collectibles from the first chapter. It is mainly 7 artifacts. Additionally, you can get health, stamina and shuriken upgrades.

Artifact #1 - Tamaya Mirror

You can get the first secret right after completing the prologue, i.e. the training in the dojo with Master Sanjuro. You must choose the rear exit from the dojo that will lead you to the garden and training areas. Go as far to the right as possible to reach the gazebo behind the bridge.

Artifact #2 - Izanagi Print

You can find this artifact shortly after completing the mini-puzzle with pushing the cart. After reaching the new building, the collectible will be on the left table.

Artifact #3 - Kai-Awase Shell

You can obtain the third artifact soon after you start exploring the first two-story building. Go down to the ground floor, choose the left exit from the building and talk to the trader marked in the picture.

Artifact #4 - Sakura Bloom

The fourth collectible can be obtained shortly after entering a large wooden construction resembling a greenhouse. You have to go left - the collectible will be lying on the table shown in the picture.

Artifact #5 - Field Mouse Sculpture

The secret is obtained shortly after the first battles with the bandits. While traveling to the left, you will come across a shrine shown in picture 1. Behind this shrine, there is a secret passage marked in the picture.

You will reach the side area shown in picture 2 with the collectible.

Health Upgrade

This secret can be found shortly after obtaining the previous artifact. You will find it in the place shown in the picture, next to the new shrine. Collectibles from this category permanently extend the hero's health bar.

Artifact #6 - Kakute

You can start looking for a new artifact after reaching the part of the village where you have to choose the route. Before you decide on any path, check out the hut from picture 1. The secret is in its central part (picture 2).

Stamina Upgrade

The upgrade can be found after reaching the two-story building, where the game shows a tutorial about secret locations. You have to examine the room on the left, shown in the picture above. Upgrades from this group permanently extend the hero's health bar.

Bo-Shuriken Upgrade

After getting the previous upgrade, you have to go to the upper floor and keep going left. Enter the room to the left of the new shrine (picture above). Get rid of the bandits and talk to the rescued person to receive a gift.

Artifact #7 - Izanami Print; Stamina Upgrade

Both of these secrets must be obtained at the end of the chapter, i.e. after you start exploring the area surrounding the village. After reaching the first fork, you have to choose the right path and go through the cemetery. The collectibles are in its final part. Don't choose the left path too early, because it leads to the place where you confront the boss.
