Special Orders are a gacha system, requiring you to spend special currency for random rewards, usually powerful characters or weapons. They serve an identical role to, for example, Genshin Impact's Wishes.

When pulling for rewards you can either choose the Order 1 or Order 10 option. Depending on what Order you've chosen, the given amount of special currency (Gold or Black nucleus) will be taken from you.

You unlock Special Orders very early on, after finishing the tutorial.

How to get Gold / Black Nucleus?

There are several ways to obtain the special currency needed for Special Orders. The first is exploration, finding special chests and performing various activities, such as collecting Dandelions.

The second is completing main and side missions, as well as acquiring achievements. Even if you don't receive Nuclei for doing so, you can exchange Dark Crystals for them in a special shop.

The third is to receive rewards from the developers, usually sent by in-game mail - Tower of Fantasy: Special Orders - pulling for characters and weapons - Basics - Tower of Fantasy Guide

The third is to receive rewards from the developers, usually sent by in-game mail. Simply click the mailbox icon and collect the rewards. The rewards are much higher early on to get new players into the game.

There is also a fourth option, however, it requires players to spend real money, namely to buy the premium currency, Tanium , and then exchange it for Gold or Black Nucleus.

Rates and pity

For every 10 Gold Nucleus you spend, you'll get a guaranteed Simulcra , a new character with an associated weapon and an optional passive effect. You'll usually receive an SR Simulacra, though there is a chance to get an SSR one. However, spending 80 Gold Nucleus is rewarded with a SSR rarity Simulcra. You can check the exact chances in the More info tab on the specific banner.

The difference between Gold and Black Nucleus is that spending Black Nucleus doesn't give you a guaranteed reward like in the case of Gold Nucleus - Tower of Fantasy: Special Orders - pulling for characters and weapons - Basics - Tower of Fantasy Guide

The difference between Gold and Black Nucleus is that spending Black Nucleus doesn't give you a guaranteed reward like in the case of Gold Nucleus. This is because Black Nucleus is much more common and easier to get. You still have a chance of obtaining a rare simulacra when spending them, though they're much smaller than with the Golden ones. Click the tab in the bottom-right corner of the screen to spend Black Nuclei.
