In this chapter of our game guide to Total War Saga Troy you can find out what add-ons and expansion sets have been announced for Total War Saga Troy and when they will be released.
Total War was officially released on August 13, 2020, but the game's developers have already announced additional DLCs for the title: Amazons, Blood & Glory, Multiplayer, Ajax & Diomedes. Below we provide a general overview of each expansion set and provide information about their expected release dates.

Amazons - add-ons & DLCs
Amazons is the first add-on to Total War Saga Troy, which will be released in September 2020. In Amazons DLC players will be able to take control of the factions of legendary warriors: Hippolyta's Amazons and Penthesilea's Amazons. It should be noted here that you can get the Amazon DLC completely for free if you have a Total War Access account. To receive a free copy of the Amazon add-on you will need to connect your Total War Access account to your Epic Games Store account. We have prepared a brief guide that explains how to do this below.
- Register a new Total War Access account or sign in to an existing account by using this address;
- Go to My Account section, then click on Epic Connect logo;
- Sign in to your Epic Games Store account;
- A notification will be displayed that your accounts have been successfully connected. After logging in to the game in the bottom right corner of the screen you will notice the relevant information that the accounts have been successfully linked.
Connecting a Total War Access account to an Epic Games Store account does not mean that the Amazons DLC for Total War Saga Troy will be automatically added. After the release of the add-on, you will have to pick up the product serial code. Then, you have to follow the instructions that will appear in the game menu to register the product on the website or in the Epic Game Store client.
Blood & Glory - add-ons & DLCs
Blood & Glory is one of the add-ons to Total War Saga Troy, which will be released in October 2020. Blood & Glory may add a bit of spice and drama to this production as this DLC will introduce a lot of blood effects to the game. We remind you that on the day of the Total War Saga Troy release, there was no blood in the game at all, nor was there any option in the settings to turn it on/off. In the original version warriors who fight in epic battles suffer heavy wounds and die but without any bloodshed.
Multiplayer - add-ons & DLCs
Multiplayer is one of the add-ons to Total War Saga Troy, which will be released in November 2020. At the time of Total War Saga Troy release, players were only allowed to play campaigns against computer controlled enemies (AI). This will change in November after the release of Multiplayer DLC. The multiplayer mode will allow every player to test their commanding skills during the gameplay with friends or challenge other fans of the Total War series.
Ajax & Diomedes - add-ons & DLCs
Ajax & Diomedes is one of the add-ons to Total War Saga Troy, which will most likely be released in the winter of 2020/2021. The game developers have not specified which month the DLC will become available. This expansion set implements two new epic heroes into the game - Ajax and Diomedes. Players will be able to take control of the factions of these characters and play additional campaigns.
