Description - The key characteristic of the hero, e.g. awareness, charisma. It is selected automatically and based on our choices.
Legacy - An element of morality, based on our decisions. Can affect certain quests and abilities.
Ninth World - The world of Torment: Tides of Numenera. It refers to the times when the planet was occupied by 8 mighty civilizations. You start the game in a world where a 9th one is rising, but not much has been revealed about the other 8.
Tides - There are five tides which represent different types of morality and personalities that the hero has. Your choices influence the coexistence with certain tides.
Glaive - Character class focused on combat.
Sagus Cliffs - A city where you begin your journey. It is divided into several sectors.
Nano - Character class which represents a mage. In fact, it uses the ancient knowledge of the previous civilizations which is not possible for other mortals.
Numenera - The game world. It was created by a science-fiction writer, Monte Cook. The story takes place in the future, about one billion years from now.
Focus - A parameter which determines your hero and abilities that he/she is known for e.g. "riding lightning".
Last Castoff - The way other characters refer to your hero.
Jack - Character class focused on high interaction with the surrounding world and solving problems without violence.
