One of the modes in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege, in which the attackers are tasked with diffusing one of two bombs planted inside the building. The defenders are supposed to protect the bombs. The round ends when one of the bombs is deactivated, the defenders destroy the disarming device, the time runs out (and the bomb remains armed) or one of the teams are completely eliminated. It is worth mentioning that when the disarming device is activated, eliminating all attackers isn't enough to win the round - the device must be destroyed as well.

Smoke curtain while disarming the bomb

You can use a smoke grenade to create a smoke curtain for the player who will be planting the bomb disarming tool.

Disorienting the enemy as a valid winning tactic

An interesting tactic while defending the bomb point is to select the Echo operator. He has a special drone that can generate sound waves that disorient the opponents. When the enemy will try to place a bomb disarming tool, use the drone to disorient him or to destroy the device.

The time works against the attackers

When the game starts, the attackers will be forced to eliminate all opponents or place the disarming tool in order to avoid losing the round. The time is working against them. As the defender you should take a good position and wait for enemy's move - you don't need to rush.

Fortifying the bomb placement positions

There are two points with a bomb on the map - they both must be well fortified and protected. A situation in which the whole team locks itself in a single room while leaving the other one unprotected is unacceptable.
