Meeting with Thief-Taker General - leaving the Rotunda | Chapter 7: The Hidden City Thief Guide

Look for the new arrows.

Before you leave the Rotunda, remember about collecting items from the central room. It'll be WAY HARDER if you decided to avoid General and not attack him. In the outer part you can find Water Arrow, Food, Poppy, Syringe - 10G, Candlestick - 15G and Ancient Armlet - 32G. It's harder to take items from the central, lit area. Wait until General turn around and use Focus. Here you can take Candlestick - 15G and Urn - 35G. There is also chest on the table, mentioned on the previous page, with two Blast Arrows.

You can try to sneak upon the boss or take his items when you defeat him.

General has several items, but stealing from him without killing him is extremely difficult. Each time you have to wait until he stops somewhere and then sneak up to him silently. It's recommended to use Focus here and part this action onto several parts (stealing one-two purses at once). Don't try to use Swoop or you'll be spotted by General. You can still three Coin Purses - 32+32+20G and Serendi Stone Circles - Amber Circle from the boss. Remark - if you defeated General in direct fight, just search his corpse.

Whatever you collect, head to the exit door when you finish. Leaving Rotunda ends the seventh chapter and begins the last, eighth one (Garrett won't be returning to the city).
