Thief Simulator runs on the Unity engine, so it can boast an eye-pleasing graphical design and quite detailed textures. It does not require a high-end computer to run smoothly. In order to enjoy smooth gameplay in 60 frames per second and settings at the highest level, a middle class PC will be enough. However, it is worthwhile to install the game on an SSD - the game requires only a few GB of space and this will significantly shorten the time of loadings between zones.

Our hardware

This guide was prepared on the PC version of the game and on a PC with the following configuration:

1. Operating system: Windows 10 (64bit)
2. Processor: Intel Core i5-3470 (3.2 GHz)
3. RAM: 16GB
4. GPU: GeForce GTX 970 (4GB)
5. HDD/SDD: game installed on SSD

Note: Most of the time, the game was running smoothly at 1080p resolution, with the highest graphics settings. Some frame drops were very sporadic (it is rather related to errors in the game).
