New aspiration

Sims with this new aspiration love everything related to sunbathing.

The new aspiration introduced in this expansion is called Beach Life. A Sim with this aspiration likes to spend time on the beach and participate in all the activities associated with it. Sunbathing, eating coconuts or swimming in the ocean - all of these activities are a pleasure to your Sim.

New character traits

Characters with the Child of the Islands trait can summon elementals.

The Island Living expansion also introduces two new character traits:

1. Child of the Ocean - Sims with this trait love to spend time in the ocean.
2. Child of the Islands - Sims with this trait are tied to the traditions of the island and can summon ancient elementals with whom they can talk (just click on your Sim and select the option to call elementals).

New lot traits

Living near a volcano can be dangerous.

The expansion has also added new lot traits:

1. Volcanic activity - earthquakes, hot steam, and volcanic eruptions occur periodically in this lot.
2. Island spirits - this lot is sometimes visited by ancient spirits of the island with whom you can talk.
