Soon the fireman will appear [239] (thanks to alarm or Sim using the phone) but till then you can deal with the problem. If the objects is burnt, you will get compensation from the insurance company and you can exchange it for a new one - for a proper price of course [240].

Burglar

At night a burglar may appear in your house. If you installed burglar alarm , it will start to work immediately [241], police will be called and your Sims will wake up. After a moment a policeman will appear [242].

Paying the bills and bailiff

The bills appear in your letterbox every few days [245]. You have to pay them regularly. When you take them out of the letterbox, their colour will change everyday [246].
