  3. The PS3 version does not offer multiplayer mode anymore. The servers for the PlayStation 3 version were shut down permanently in September 2019. You cannot unlock a platinum trophy. Servers are still available for the PS4 remastered version of the game.

  4. The Remaster works in fixed 60 frapes and in 1080p resolution. Thanks to this, it offers higher graphics quality and better experience than the PlayStation 3 version.

The Last of Us: Part 1 (remake): PS5 requirements

  1. The Last of Us remasters do not offer multiplayer functionalities. The remastered editions are singleplayer only.
  2. The PS+ subscription is not mandatory, but it offers cloud saving.
  3. The PS5 remaster offers two graphic modes - Quality and Performance . Quality makes playing in 4K possible, but the game is framecapped at 30 FPS. Performance offers fluid 60 FPS, at a cost of dynamic resolution which attempts to maintain 4K, but most of the time the actual resolution is lower. The remake also offers support for VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) technology.
