In The Flame in the Flood a couple of types of locations are dominant. In all those locations (save for the harbor and bait shed), you can encounter wild animals, as well as some resources.
 Camp
| You can find different resources here. You will also find at least one bonfire. After lighting it up, you can sleep and get warm. |
 Marina
| Hit this place if your raft needs repairs. Also, fuel will always be here. |
 Church
| Occasionally, you can supply your first-aid kit here with some bandages and alcohol. The church also gives shelter - you can sleep here. |
 Clinic
| All kinds of medical items are here. The clinic gives shelter as well. |
 Farm
| Many food supplies, and clean water from the well. |
 Bait shack
| Hooks and fishing rod cables. You can also sleep in the shack. |
 Filling station
| You will find fuel, bandages, wood and screws. Moreover, in the station there also is a workbench. You can sleep at the petrol station. |
 Hardware store
| There will always be at least one workbench here. You can also find items required for repairing the raft. |
 Liquor Store
| Alcohol and potable water source. You can find shelter in the store. |
 Wilderness
| Various resources in small quantities. There will be many enemies, some of them legendary, such as the Elder Wolf. |
