Get ready to defeat a new miniboss. It's extremely important to leave the minigun on the ground as soon as you've started this level [#369]. You can do this by choosing a new weapon from your inventory. Avoid a rocket heading your way and take cover behind the nearest pillar.

Thankfully it's going to be a rather straightforward duel. Focus most of your attention on avoiding the boss, because its attacks would result in Riddick losing a lot of health. Wait for one of the barrels to appear above the hostile machine and fire at it to let it go. You'll witness an explosion if you've done everything correctly [#370].

If you're lucky the robot will be destroyed after three-four successful explosions. Once this is done go back to the corridor where you've started this level and pick up a minigun again. You may now proceed towards a large gate [#371].
