Notice that you've stopped being attacked by the mech, so you won't have to try and hide from it. Go to Shurik (if he's still alive) and give him his glasses [#259]. Sadly you won't receive any packs for your efforts. Shurik will only promise to distract the mechanical opponent when the time is right.

Go to your right and proceed towards a previously unlocked passageway [#260]. Just as before, you should consider taking cover next to the crates. Go to your right and find a new guard standing next to a door. Stun him with your tranquilizer gun, finish him off and proceed to the corridor he was guarding.

You'll find yourself standing in a small room. There's an entrance to a new ventilation shaft to your right [#261]. Open it using a Vent Tool, enter the shaft and use a nearby ladder. Keep heading forward. Once you've reached a room with a large fan enter a new ventilation shaft which should be located to your left. Exit this area.
