The world of The Council is filled with numerous collectible coins. They don't give you any bonuses - sometimes, the main hero can tell a short story. This page contains the exact locations of all the coins that can be obtained in the first episode. First episode of The Council contains 28 coins. You can rely on the maps and screenshots that show their locations.
Chapter 1 - The Port
You can find two coins in the harbor. The first one is located near the letterbox - between the letterbox and the torch. The second one is found just after you enter the bridge leading to the closed gate - the coin is lying on the boards.
Chapter 1 - The second floor
The second floor of the castle is reached during chapter 1 - everyone goes to their rooms after the conversation and you can search the entire floor.
- Coin 2 - found on the table near Manuel Godoy's room.
- Coin 3 - found near your room, behind the curtain of the balcony's window.
- Coin 4 - this coin lies between the pillar and the table in front of Washington's room.
- Coin 5 - found behind Washington's room, on one of the sofas.
- Coin 6 - right after leaving the huge room where the previous coin was, on the table below the painting.
- Coin 7 - in front of Wollner's room you can find stairs and a niche with a sofa. The coin lies next to said sofa.
- Coin 8 - the last coin that can be found in the hallway is located near Emily's room. It is in a niche, on top of a sofa.
The last (ninth) coin in this chapter is in your room. Upon entering it you can find the table, sofas and chairs - the coin lies on the ground.
Chapter 2 - The first floor
The second chapter has three coins.
The first coin can be obtained right after starting this chapter. You start in your bedroom - someone knocks on the door. Look at the balcony door (presented in the picture) before you let that person in. The coin lies on the ground and is hidden behind the curtain.
The next two coins are found on the first floor. The map above shows their exact locations.
- Coin 2 - right after going down the stairs, next to the wall and near the sofa.
- Coin 3 - the last coin lies near the fireplace.
Chapter 3
The third chapter has five coins.
The first two coins are on the balcony. This chapter also starts in your bedroom - head to the balcony door, go through them and then go right. You will see the table and the sofa (just like in the picture above). One coin lies on that sofa and another is on the table.
The following three coins require you to visit other people's rooms. One coin is in Elizabeth Adams' room and two more are in the room that belongs to Napoleon Bonaparte. The map above shows both the locations of the rooms and the coins.
- Coin 3 - enter Bonaparte's room and look right immediately. There is a table with three chairs. The coin is behind them.
- Coin 4 - this coin is in Bonaparte's bedroom. Enter inside - go left immediately and head towards the chest of drawers. The coin lies on top of it.
- Coin 5 - the last coin is in Elizabeth Adam's room. Enter inside and head towards the books that lie on the ground. The coin is between the books.
Chapter 4
The last chapter has seven coins.
To get the first two coins you must go to the salon. You will find the first one in the lower right corner of the room on the table, and the second one is located in the upper left corner of the room - between the chest of drawers and the wall.
Obtaining the next five coins. You don't have to explore a lot to find these coins - just follow the story.
- Coin 3 - found right after starting this chapter. It lies on the ground, next to your character.
- Coin 4 - head towards the library (go right). Stop right after going through the first door. The coin lies on the ground, left from you.
- Coin 5 - the third coin is in the library. It lies next to the books on the ground.
- Coin 6 - this coin is in the room mentioned by your mother. Go to the second fireplace in the first room. The coin is behind it.
- Coin 7 - this coin can be found in the secret room accessed after solving the puzzle with statues. The coin is on the cabinet with a flintlock pistol.
