The following page lists the culinary ingredients in The Serpent Rogue that you need to make dishes by using recipes or creating your own. Dishes will restore your hunger and help you tame the animals. Here you will learn where to find and how to use the ingredients for the dishes.

Mushroom

1. Where to get: Wasteland,

To get mushrooms, you have to cut them out using glass. You lose them on use. You cut them out of a trunk that you often find near or on a hill in Wasteland.

Eggs

1. Where to get: Wasteland, Swamp, breeding

In Wasteland and Swamp, you will find eggs in randomly placed nests. They don't always contain eggs. Sometimes, you will only find shells.

1. You can turn eggs into Shell by throwing them on the ground.
2. You can keep chickens to lay eggs by feeding them.
3. You can turn into a hen and lay eggs by consuming the hunger bar - if you have food, you can refill the bar from your inventory to get many eggs.
4. Eggs are the basis of many dishes (pies).
5. You can tame snakes with them.

You can only lay eggs in the living form and as long as you have enough green bar.

Raw Fish

1. Where to get: Wasteland, Swamp

You can retrieve raw fish when you are in a rat form by searching tipped boats. Raw fish is for taming a Valravn.

Raw Meat

You can get raw meat from chickens and roosters. You can kill them or rob them - you will only find them in Wasteland. With raw meat, you can tame a Dog.

Worm

Worms are not really dish ingredients, but you can eat them. You will find them in tree trunks (Pier, Abandoned House, southeast part of Wasteland, across the river). You can use them to restore a small amount of energy or catch Fishbones.

Other ingredients

There are many other culinary ingredients available:

1. Apple,
2. Tomato,
3. Seeds,
4. Pumpkin,
5. Devil's Pepper,
6. Cheese.

However, the only option to get them is to search barrels, baskets and, above all, crates. You will always find a meal or ingredient in chests with a lock and in Moonchests.
