On this page of The Quarry game guide, you will find the walkthrough of chapter 2. You will learn what you need to do to complete this part of the game and unlock the Chapter 2 achievement.
At the beginning of chapter 2, Jacob will break into the warehouse. You can either let him prove himself at the start or kick the door down.
Inside, Jacob will be looking for alcohol - you can look around. In the warehouse, you will find clues: Lodge Renovation Plans, Damaged Memorabilia, Torn Bags. Also, you may catch a glimpse of the mask that Emma will use to scare Jacob.
The most important element is the weapons you will discover behind closed doors. Here you can also make a choice - you can kick the door or ask Jacob for help. Both options have no effect on the plot, the state of the characters, or their relationship.
The weapon lies on the floor. Emma grabs it along with the code to the safe. There are fireworks in the safe. Taking them is an important choice. Later in the plot, they will help you to distract the monster from the other campers.
Dylan and Ryan end up in Chris's office. They'll plug the phones in and then start searching the office. There you will find the Counselor's Ledger. You can't take the weapons from the wall, even if you try to convince Ryan. After opening Chris's bedroom, you can look in the closet. This will lead you to a secret room.
The hatch in the floor is very important. If you climb down, you'll move a rung that will break under the characters' feet later in the story.
After checking the whole thing you can leave. To do so, head to the phones, and during a brief conversation with Ryan, confirm that you want to go to the party.
Nick goes with Abigail to get wood for the fire. You have two choices. In both cases, the exact same thing will happen.
- On the "Shady Glade" path, you will find clues: Ranger Box and Trail Camera.
- On the "Rocky Road", however, you will find The Hanged Man tarot card.
In both cases, you will have an encounter with a small and large wild pig. This is a tutorial for breath holding and QTEs. No one can get hurt here.
Once you move to Kaitlyn, you will have a conversation at the bonfire. You can choose whether you take the gun away from Jacob or it stays in his hands. A better choice would be to give it to the girl, that way the weapon will be in the camp.
When playing as Nick, you have only one task. You must shoot all the targets that Kaitlyn will prepare for you. This is combined with the Peanut Butter Butterpops! achievement.
The sequence over the campfire goes only in one way. Whatever you do, Abigail will run off into the woods, and Nick will go after her. This is a very important part of the story.
