On this page of the guide, you will find a description of all the ways in which Dylan can die. Remember that the game features the "death rewind" option, which you can use if you die by accident.
Considering the content of this page, a spoiler warning is in order. Below, you will read about important choices and situations that happen during The Quarry's storyline. For obvious reasons, we had no way of avoiding spoilers, but we tried to describe the storyline as vaguely as possible, and only point to specific situations.
Chapter 9
Dylan can die in the junkyard if he doesn't perform the QTE correctly while helping Kaitlyn, he can't escape the werewolf, and the werewolf decapitates him.
Chapter 10
Dylan's death in the last chapter is possible if Kaitlyn starts preparing for a fight instead of going on a further search of the attic. These are exactly the "Prepare for Battle" and "Wait" options. At this time, the creature will climb the stairs. If you don't shoot, Kaitlyn will escape and Dylan will become the victim. A safer option is to continue searching the house, then Dylan can hide.
